That´s the exact reason we´re not having a live draft - because some people think they couldn´t make it, and don´t want to pre-rank all their players. I´m one of the ones who would do whatever it takes to make it to a live draft, so I´m certianly not in favor of a pre-rank.

There is more internet access here in S.America than I expected, so if waiting is as big a problem is it seems for everyone, then I could be talked into doing the first 2 rounds before our scheduled start date of Oct. 24. I don´t want to commit to any more than that, because I´m not going to spend my whole vacation doing FF research.

If everyone is agreeable to this, perhaps we can start rounds 1 & 2 next Wednesday, and resume on Sunday.

i'll post my pick late tuesday night (it will be wed EST). BG can start either Tues night or Wed AM. Let's start out picking in this thread and I'll send out email updates throughout the day. My only fear is jbahseng not being able to pick until early each morning.

Final spot WILL be filled by then. If I have to, I'll rope in the guy in the cubicle next to me. He said he'd join if we needed to fill spots (and he's a big kobe fan, hehe).

Maybe you should send an initial e-mail about whats going on? I suspect some ppl might have slacked off til the official draft date?

Sure, middle of the night is ok. I'll send you my draft list if i can't make the draft, so you can make the pick for me. My peference will be 9 a.m EST ~ 7 p.m EST during weekday, anytime during weekends. Unfortunately i will have a businees trip later this month, most probably on 25th, so i hope we can finish the draft ahead.

BTW, will we have the live draft on this thread or other channel?

And welcome CPA, who finally decided to sign up on the yahoo site right after I convinced a guy at work to sign up... so I guess CPA stands for Complete Pain in the A$$!! But the league is full now, so let's keep the picks rolling.
