Tyson. Would only take one solid punch
Yep. Lee was not a fighter. He was an actor. He could probably have kicked all our asses, but not a professional.
That's why he and Chuck Norris never sparred. Chuck was a pro. He would have smoked Bruce.
Chuck has done a good job helping further the legend of his friend over the years, by dodging any questions of him vs Bruce, but he was finally asked in the right way and basically admitted that that he would have won. Interviewer asked if they ever sparred, and Chuck says "no", and is asked why he says "well, I was a pro" and the interviewer finished the question for him "and Lee was not" and Chuck agrees. Close as he's ever come to just saying outright that he'd have beaten Bruce.
Lee was a showman and an actor. And his fitness routine was phenomenal. He died young, so he became a legend, and it's really not a reputation that's deserved, at least with regards to his fighting prowess. It's ridiculous, really. He wouldn't have beaten any of the top martial artists of the day, none of the top ones now, nobody in MMA, and no pro boxers...at least, not just "as he was". Now could he have trained in any one of those sports and become competitive? Sure, it's possible. But as he was, no. He was an actor.
He had one fight, ever, and the results of that are HIGHLY contested...to the point where his opponent finally gave his account to a paper, and challenged Lee to a public fight if Lee disagreed with his version. Lee never said a word.
