This is an accident we had on post just last week. Must see to believe!

BTW, the Humvee had no damage at all!

BTW, I added the text on the first image. Although old and worn out, it just worked in this situation (you know, the whole Mastercard thing that is....)

Oh yeah, minor cut to the guy in the Civic. Everyone else walked away without a scratch. Oh yeah, the driver of the Hummer is short on some ass now too!

Cool! I saw other pictures of that accident earlier today.

Poor Hummer... looks like it may have scratched its bumper..

C'mon! Damn! This has to spark discussion! Doesn't this make you want a Humvee instead of a ricer (this was a very moderately done one at that, but it was brand new too!).

perry,

Where did you see those at? As far as I know, I'm the only one outside of the TAI office that has them in soft copy format.

Yet another advantage to the extremely high approach angles offered by the HumVee.

A hummer is made for the battle field. The engine is quite robust but noisy and lack acceleration. If only GM put a Chevy V8 engine in there, now we're talking.

And that is exactly what it did.

I'm a big fan of imports but that Civic just looks pathetic with those rims.

i am actually quite surprised at how well the civic held up. the side windows arnt even cracked.... and it manages to lift up a 8ton hunk of metal... very impressed. it looks almost as if they hit any faster.... the civic couldve flipped the humvee.

Yeah me too, but man there is just something damn nice about driving a big car.

For a while I was commuting in this ugly ass 740 Volvo turbo (2 ton+ turbocharged rear wheel drive monster), and even aggressive SUV drivers wouldn't try to cut into my lane. I was like, b*tch bring it on, you SUVs aren't so tough with pushing around cars your own size. Can't say the same with the smaller cars I've driven.

Even funner when you floor it and other people see this big volvo charging straight down a lane. No one tries to cut in front of you.

Pocatello,
It is a Chevy V-8. One of those crappy diesel conversion jobs. From the mechanics I have talked to (Marines and SeaBees) the HUMVEE is a piece of crap. My driving experience with one wasn`t impressive either. Way underpowered.
