Minimize games to desktop and again large times it is safe all?

Hey. I have a question. If i am for example minimalizing game to desktop and again for example 20 times back to game and ALT TAB to windows it can hurt graphic card, or i am just too sensitive?

If i 20 times from a row, minimalize game to windows and again back to game it is safe , at all?

I've heard reports that aliens will swoop out of the sky and steal all your rice crispies. As long as you have rice crispies for them to take your all set. If not, thats when you have to worry.

Seriously though, there is no harm in alt/tabbing. The worst thing that will happen is that the application may crash

Your graphics card won't get hurt, or mad at you. But some games just don't respond well to minimizing so like above poster said, SAVE!!!!

Sometimes I tab in/out and lose audio which sucks or just get a crash. It won't matter to your graphics card at all.

A velociraptor once came in through the window and stole my chair when I did this, but I got it back the next day, so it wasn't a big deal. The worst part is: there wasn't even a window where I was!

Seriously though, some games will simply crash or stop functioning well (in-game) after you alt+tab out of them, but they won't hurt your system. Some might cause it to blue screen, but that's nothing to worry about. Worst that can happen is you loosing your unsaved data...

Your card won't care. The game might, but that's just software.

Why are you planning on doing this, anyway?

Who told you that it is bad? Since you seem to have it in your head that it is.

No it won't damage your video card, however it can crash the application.

This is why we have borderless windowed mode.
