Minitek Portable DVD player for $179.00 7"

Nice.. just got it this morning online... hope they only ship it.. I test over 7 months on a lot of portables and found this to be very nice and plays everything incl SVCDs and DVDr... cannot beat it and long battery and no weeny sound like the $700+ Toshibas [older models].. anyway most portables are dropping like a brick now with more people becoming jobless and economy being worst and 10% enemployment... soon everyone is going to be in the streets with the new Bush plan to make overtime pay not possible anymore and everyone leaving to work on a 2nd job.. haha..

Actually the Best Buy web-site is under major renovation these days, and displays this availability message for most of their products, even though the products are indeed available in their stores. The new web-site is supposed to be ready, and will be launched this coming weekend.

What chaps my hide is the price of car lcd units. I can get a 7" small form factor mintek DVD fo $180, but this still costs $230, large form factor, no dvd.
