No, VOTERS decided the election. Coleman and the Republican party shot their load trying to overturn it.

I was just kidding; are you trying to channel Harvey?
The Harvey Channel is reporting that Coleman and the Republicans are now reporting they have found some 30% more more uncounted absentee ballots than there are registered voters in Minnesota. They say their next appeal will be to Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the Guardian Council where they hope to get a "fair and balanced" evaluation of their claims.

truly an embarrassing day in Minnesota politics.. (But only slightly less embarrassing than Jesse "The Body" Ventura .
Fixed
Funny, a post from a guy in Florida (Chads, Harris, Bush) ripping on the outcome further edited by a guy from California (Ronnie-Ray-Gun, 13, Aaaahhhnold, and a 24bn bankruptcy) who thinks that MN governors are bad.
Ironical?

I am sure Coleman is going to try to get USSC to give him the election like they gave it to Bush.

Huh? Our opinions conflicting doesnt make irony. Sorry, Alanis. Thinking Arnold caused our financial issues is...well...yea. Stick to your state's politics, it has enough problems.

Yes, because length of service + your opinion of a joke = how a state's budgeting is done.
The intricacies of CA politics arent something that I would expect outsiders to know, or really care about for that matter.

Nobody does care, they just laugh at your bankruptcy. Don't throw stones if you're bankrupt and live in a glass house.

Not quite as ironic as somebody ripping on them while also expressing Ventura being a terribad gov

I don't think Ventura was a great governor. I did vote for him since both candidates sucked at the time (wasn't one Coleman?). I don't live in MN now, nor have I for the past 8 years.
The "ironical" was an ironic joke.

Yes it was coleman and Skip Humphrey. I only commented because you in the past have ripped the hell out of ventura for being a financial idiot with the states budget.

It only took them eight months to figure out who won last November? Maybe it should be made so that if a state can't figure it out by the time the elected official is supposed to take office, then they just lose that representation and have make do with one less senator and/or representative for the remainder of that term.
It took this long because of all of Norm's appeals.
He has this right under the law.

GOP's Coleman concedes, sending Franken to Senate
By BRIAN BAKST, Associated Press Writer Brian Bakst, Associated Press Writer
ST. PAUL, Minn. ? Republican Norm Coleman conceded to Democrat Al Franken in Minnesota's contested Senate race on Tuesday, ending a nearly eight-month recount and court fight over an election decided by only a few hundred votes.
Coleman announced his decision at a news conference in St. Paul hours after a unanimous Minnesota Supreme Court ruled that Franken, a former "Saturday Night Live" comedian and liberal commentator, should be certified the winner.
"The Supreme Court has made its decision and I will abide by the results," Coleman told reporters outside his St. Paul home.
