It was actually $150 per night for just a single room and I just verified what you did so you are trying to lie. The happy medium there is the simple suite (only do this if you plan to either be in your room mostly together and on property or you also have another couple/family with you...the simple suite is pretty insane by itself). The Grand Suites and beyond are a bit insane, but your room does get a door mat and more
Good luck with the drinks on site and the food though...they don't get discounted off-season. I live in S. Florida. I don't need to stay in the most expensive places every month; I can shop this area and get rooms that would be $500+ for less than half that.
Since you are so concerned about my room rates her and I stay at Sundy House too on weekends. I finally scored their honeymoon suite at $300 across 4 days. Sadly, I had to work On property food and drinks are how we did it and City Oyster down the street.
My fiancées wines were not the best of the best (she likes sweet which tends to be cheaper unless they have Tokaj on the menu and that forces my hand), but it was $10-15 per glass and we drink. My simple Mich Ultras were $6.
I picked her up some clothing and shiny stuff, along with souvenirs for the kids.
We burned a lot of cash down.
