Minumum # of fans in a computer

I mean.. for those that are not overclocked.
let's see.. there is one on CPU. One on PSU..
So, really, all I need is 2 fans. Right?

Depends.

A standard system comes with a fan on the cpu and one on the psu. On the newer video cards there is also a fan, so it varies between 2 and 3.

Summer is approaching..I recommend one additional rear fan...either a pci slot fan or an 80mm....if the case has the housing for it

Lost the address, but there is a case maker with a water cooled power supply, setup for water cooling the cpu and video..leaving only one fan total, and it was below the case pushing air over the radiator..Some of the older Gateways and dells used the power supply fan to cool the processor..They had one total..Bad idea, but that was what they did..

damn, on a non-aced room..
when room was 67-70, cpu was 87-95
now the room is 85-90, cpu is 115

I gotta get an ac...

I have an old house with 220V power and 110V, want to use the 220V for a good AC.. any one know where I can order a 220V model ?

Do yourselft a favor, cut a hole in the wall for the AC. Leaving them in the window long term is such a waste.. and ugly.. and annoying.

It gets up to 100+ F here in West Texas. I usually keep the apt. at 78F during the day, otherwise the electric bill goes sky high.
