How many of you actually listened to the entire video? She's torn up and really upset that a part of her is feeling the way she does.
Please listen to this.
She says, "I know it's not right and I definitely don't condone violence."
She's torn up at her own lack of empathy, saying, "I don't feel sad that those officers lost their lives AND I KNOW THAT THAT'S NOT RIGHT."
She says, "I WANT TO FEEL SAD FOR THEM but I can't help but feel like the shooter is a martyr AND I KNOW THAT'S NOT THE RIGHT WAY TO FEEL BECAUSE NOBODY DESERVES TO DIE AND THOSE POLICE OFFICERS HAD FAMILIES AND PEOPLE WHO LOVED THEM AND THAT THEY DIDN'T DESERVE TO DIE."
It's easy to make a cartoon villain out of this woman's anguish at the coldness in her own heart that she's trying to confront. So, go on, get down in the tit for tat political mosh pit and help make this ugly and tragic situation worse, like she has inadvertently done, like this asshole OP has deliberately done.
Just don't be proud of yourself when you do.
You left out the part in which she says that she feels the shooter is a Martyr....
Wait - something is taken out of context on the Internet? I'm gonna need a minute to put on my shocked face . . .How many of you actually listened to the entire video? She's torn up and really upset that a part of her is feeling the way she does.

That is the king of stupid - which is weird, since teenagers are otherwise widely known for their wisdom.

Brilliant!Brilliant follow-up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzDS3i4vv6w
This inflated sense of the scale of the problem is not an accident. Our mainstream media has a vested interest in pushing that agenda.I'm glad she feels conflicted and knows that violence is wrong. But her perception of reality is way off. There aren't any more black people being shot by cops these days than any other time period. There's just more cases being reported by the media. Furthermore, the number of black people shot by cops every year is like 300 out of 35 million. You're just about as likely to be killed by Muslim terrorists. In other words, not very likely. I think there's some racial bias in the system, but I also think many black people have an inflated sense of the scale of the problem. This disconnect between perception and reality is a serious issue.

I wonder if she knows why she is not as emotionally affected by blacks killing blacks in far greater numbers than the few white cops killing black people incidents that recently occurred.
I'll bet she doesn't. Now I wonder if any of you do.

People don't really listen they are just quick to label her.
I remember the day Regan was shot. I didn't feel bad for him because of his attitudes towards black people. There may have been a twinge of "he had it coming". That's how I felt back then, just didn't broadcast it. I don't think it made me racist but it was an honest feeling at the time.
I'm sure there were a lot of black people who didn't shed a tear when George Wallace was shot. Doesn't mean they wanted him killed.
Very well said.I really can't say much. But no one should support the punishment of people for crimes they personally did not commit. Americans, of all people, should be terribly frightened by the concept of collective guilt.
Now do the same thing and look at the whole situation with that picture of the woman being arrested who wouldn't leave after being asked multiple times by the cops after being allowed to protest for several hours, especially since she is endangering herself on that busy stretch of road.
Or it is easier to think that the big bad mean police are picking on an innocent little flower?
Endangering herself on that busy stretch of road? There was no traffic. There was no danger. The police are lined across the entire road. Nothing was getting through there.
