Yup. My point was just that the second photo didn't seem to debunk the first one, as far as I could tell.It doesn't matter. The SUV was stopped and as I read it the initial shots were fired 35 feet from it. After that Wilson and Brown moved and the end result would be the greater distance. Since the SUV didn't shoot nor did it care it's ultimate distance was any particular value.
If that's true Wilson has a big problem. He's allowed to shoot at Brown if Brown is trying to escape, or if Brown is threatening him. If Wilson remained within 35' of the SUV and Brown is shot from the front 100'+ from the SUV, Wilson has neither grounds to claim. An unarmed man charging an armed man from 70' away is hardly an immediate threat justifying deadly force, even for a cop.I listened to the videos in that article and the official said that the entire shooting scene took place 35 feet away from the vehicle, not that the entire scene was 35 feet including the vehicle. You have to deliberately interpret that wrong to distort their claim in order to call them liars. They are saying that Wilson was about 35 feet from the vehicle and Brown was an unspecified distance further, so the entire scene of the shooting was about 35 feet away (obviously ignoring the encounter and discharge while he was in the vehicle). They weren't wrong.
Only problem I have is calling that "black culture". Nowhere near a majority of black people embrace that culture, and numerically (admittedly not percentage-wise) there are probably more whites than blacks embracing it.American's have glorified "thug" culture for generations. We want to be Billy the Kid, Machine Gun Kelly, Scarface, etc..... Black artists have made $$$$$ off banking "thug" culture and spreading it's popularity in new forms of media. "thug" culture will always remain popular in this country, it's just a fact of life we have to deal with.
The biggest problem with "black culture" at the moment is that it popularizes and perpetuates ties to economic poverty. Normalizing poverty and the socio-economic effects poverty people are exposed to, can create a self-perpetuating system where people subconsciously REMAIN in poverty.
He's talking about gangster rap, for example, which is almost entirely represented & promoted by black rappers.Only problem I have is calling that "black culture". A decision is expected Monday from the grand jury in Ferguson, Missouri, that is weighing evidence in the Michael Brown shooting, U.S. and local law enforcement officials told CNN.
The announcement will come from the St Louis County Prosecutor, the sources said.

Jesus, can we stop this racism bullshit. Gangsta/Gangster rap is a big market and almost all races play in it.

Why would the prosecutors office announce the decision at sundown? Again more missteps.
All races exploit the genre, but you are stretching if you say gangsta rap isn't a black thing.
It's not a white thing, asian thing, indian thing, it's a black thing. It's an awesome form of music, and it branched out into an amazing thing that everyone can use, but it started as a black thing and will always be identified as a black thing.
Much like how country music is a white thing, except all races can exploit that music genre as well too
So its not possible to create lyrics about what goes on in your community without advocating violence?
I don't think anyone accused Bob Marley of favoring cop killing when he wrote "I Shot the Sheriff". But maybe I'm wrong.

Gangsta rap almost exclusively fuels violence, drug use, and the subjugation of humans.
chicken and egg scenario. does not necessarily fuel the violence/drug use/etc, but does describe it in succinct detail.
Maybe that's because most people never heard the song until Eric Clapton sang the song. The FBI and CIA kept a very close watch on Bob Marley due to some of his song lyrics.
Alrighty... Well all the news sites are reporting the GJ reached a decision and that they are expecting the official announcement any minute.
