As a matter of fact CNN is saying that it's white people in the crowd trying to agitate and start a fight with the cops in order to derail the movement.

Maybe because he knew that he would get his ass handed to him through "street justice" if he "snitched" on them? You know, like they did to his store after he "snitched".

But hey, don't let the truth behind "street justice" get in the way. after all, it's why so many witnesses gave truthful (ha!) accounts of what happened. Remember, all of the shots were in the back, he was running away and was a clean kid with no drugs, no history of violence and no problems with authority. And the cop got the wound on his own.

In Texas you are allowed to use deadly force to protect your property; this is not a new concept. However, I am in agreement that a theft should not be punishable by death. It is the act of violence that Mike Brown committed toward the old Indian man that changed this from a simple theft to physically assaulting an old man to get what he wants. The act of violence that he imposed on the old Indian man is why I find the bullet to Mike Brown's face deserving and justice.






I think 2Pac was referring to the Rodney King riots? What I find troublesome is that many of the whites that are in support of Rodney King and Mike Brown became victims of the racist side of the black community. The 50 whites that died in the riots had nothing to do with the police assault just as the store owners in Ferguson have nothing to do with Mike Brown. Why must the black community take out their frustrations on the innocent white people? Why make this a race war on people who want to be left in peace?

There is something called "due process", in as that if still alive Brown would face several years in jail for the strong-armed robbery of the old and very small shop-owner. If the "vigilante justice" mindset were practiced on a daily basis you would have folks shooting at one another on the highways on a daily basis, "he cut me off and endangered my family so he needed to die", a modern society just can't function in that manner. I haven't even heard the cop's story of the events leading up to him killing Brown, maybe it's been posted somewhere in the thread but I don't have time to look for it. As for the assholes that are burning and looting they are only perpetuating the problems that blacks face in today's society and are a tragic insult to this dead person and his family's memory.

You bring up a good point about due process. Maybe I was being a bit hasty when I said MB deserved a bullet in the face. I was just feeling sorry for the old man who lost his store when he wanted to be left out of the drama. However, I still feel no sympathy for Martin Brown's death.
