I won't cry if they cancel my order for a price mistake. I WILL be a bit angry if they ship me a 9200...

Let's just wait and see...

Yup, they have another hour to credit me back or they are getting blasted. Should enver have charged before shipping anyway!

wow, you guys are ruthless. You knew when you ordered that it was a mistake, now that you have come to the inevitable conclusion you are going to complain and bash their rating? No such thing as a free lunch guys.

The problem here is they shouldn't charge your card until they accepted the order and is shipping the stuff. If they aren't willing to ship, then they shouldn't charge the card.

It was advertised on their own website as being in stock and for a certain price. Yes, we knew it was a very great possibility that it was a mistake. That said, you handle your business. I don't mind that it was cancelled, but I do mind not getting any notification. I also mind, finding out when I go to check tracking info. I do mind when the customer service rep is rude to me and insinuates that I was wrong. I believe that either you stand by your price or you offer a compromise. They could have offered something as small as free shipping on my next order or something and an apology. Instead, I got attitude and blame. He said they never even had it in stock and that they didn't add it to their website. That is what is wrong with our country...no one wants to take responsibility. Just say, we made a mistake, we are sorry...what can we do to make it up to you. We appreciate your patronage. Had they said something like that, I would have been cool without any compromise. They proved to me why they have a low rating. I could care less about the card. I didn't think I would actually get it, but I do expect customer service. Now I, have to do all of the work and find out if I was charged, and or credited and if not I need to fight it. Like I said, it is all in how you handle a situation. In my line of work, the customer is always right, even if we have to eat it.

If they were quick enough to cancel orders and not cancel the charge on customer's CC, they're no good in my book.

If they charged your CC... bash time baby!!!

My main problem was the lack of responsibility. He told me they NEVER had them in stock...and that they didn't add it to their website. Give me a break. He also told me that they had 2000 orders and that is why they haven't emailed me yet. All I know is that they were able to email us timely that they TOOK the order, an order for an item that they NEVER had (according to my rep.) Then he blames ME. He said, "You tried...." I said, " I didn't try anything. I ordered an item from your website at the advertised price, that you said was in stock. I didn't try to pricematch, use a coupon or anything." Like I said, they should have admitted the mistake, apologized and offered free shipping or a 5 or 10 percent discount on our next order. At least in that case, everyone would be satisfied, they might have some new customers, make some money and save their rep. They chose the other route, will they will turn away customers and ruin their rep. That will hurt them more.

Most likely the cards were just authorized, as most places will do when you place an order. They certainly don't want to go through the hassle of packaging up your order when the funds aren't available. The authorization usually drops off in a few days.

That is still inappropriate for an item that you claim was never in stock and that you had no intention of selling for the advertised price. In the best case scenario it holds the funds of the consumer and in many cases could even prevent them from spending the money elsewhere...depending on their financial status. But, hey, whatever

I too can understand a mistake. However coupled with a cc that is already charged and an unpleasant experience with the CSR on my part, I feel that its my duty to let others know of my unsatisfactory experience with them. Good idea to link to the feedback pages reDont. Allow me to add a few more.
