If the drive you're replacing was your boot drive, you'll need to unplug your IDE drive, while installing Windows, because you've got an older chipset. I even have to do that on my nForce 4 boards, which are newer.
You might want to be careful on how many IDE controllers are available. Most motherboards these days have only (1) IDE and maybe (4) SATA ports. I had to get an SATA dvd-burner since I have a IDE/PATA hard drive that was physically not possible to chain with the IDE dvd-burner.
