Mixing RAM? KHX3200 and Valueram?

Due to the limitations of my cpu's overclock (235 fsb P4 2.8) and my RAM's inability to do DDR470, I am currently running my 2 x 512MB KHX3200 @ DDR376. Pretty much a waste of this memory which is unfortunate, but it's the way things turned out.

Kingston, Samsung and Corsair value ram just fell through the floor pricewise here in Canada so I was considering picking up 2x512 and throwing them into my system to give me 2Gigs (all running at DDR376).

Will this cause me any problems? I'll have to move to the slower CAS (I'm already at 2.5-3-3-6 so it's not like I'm running very tight), but will Dual Channel even work? Do I run the risk of memory errors?

You should be fine. Like you stated, you will have to run at slower timings. You should still be able to run dual channel. If you are afraid of memory errors, run mem test or prime 95 to check your memory and system stablilty.

on my system i tried to mix a stick of corsair value ram and a ocz enhanced latency. both are 512mb pc3200 but i couldnt get them to work together. im assuming it has to do with the different spd timings and i believe that the value ram operates on 2.5 volts. but at any case i just broke down and bought another stick of corsair value select 512mb pc3200 for 55 with free second day. in my experience memory latency and running async or syncronous with the fsb does little for performance on a64s since they arent bandwidth starved like most p4s are.
