I ripped my Star Trek Bluray Movie and watched on laptop in the .mkv container from VLC. I thought something looked a little off like it was lighter and the colors looked not as vivid as i thought they would look.
I then pulled up the BluRay Disk in Powerdvd and playing directly from disk confirmed my thoughts as it was darker and more vivid.
Any idea's? Could it be a problem with VLC player?
I am basically going to move .mkv from my computer to a WDTV Live Plus box on my network
