Ugh, Glavine on the verge of melting down....

Freakin Glavine is stinkin it up!!! He's been just awful for awhile now and he's about to give up all the damn runs his mates got for him. The Mets need a damn starter and fast. I'm tired of Glavine. He has really regressed over the last month of so.

Newsday
Mets' Sanchez out for season
Mets reliever Duaner Sanchez is out for the season after undergoing surgery today to repair a separated right shoulder, a team official confirmed this afternoon. Sanchez, 26, was injured Sunday in a taxi accident after the team arrived in Miami, and flew back to New York this morning for the operation, as first reported by Fox Sports.
Sanchez was a key component of the Mets bullpen as the set-up man to closer Billy Wagner, and his situation will no doubt impact the team's plans with 40 minutes left before today's 4 p.m. non-waiver trade deadline. Sanchez was 5-1 with a 2.60 ERA and had a team-high 49 appearances.
The Mets acquired left-hander Oliver Perez and reliever Roberto Hernandez from the Pirates in exchange for outfielder Xavier Nady on Monday, a source told ESPN.com's Keith Law.
The need to bolster the staff intensified when the Mets lost right-handed setup man Duaner Sanchez for the season to a separated pitching shoulder, ESPN's Steve Phillips confirmed.

Ugh. Mets worst enemy this year is freak occurrences. First Pedro slipping on water, now this accident.
Sucks that they traded for a guy they had last year!
