Oh I'm prepared for defeat. It's Indians baseball so they can get to the verge of greatness and fall ever so short.

MLB just needs to stop the series and make them co World Series champions.

His defense is incredible but I agree, because offense is just so much more important in baseball. That being said....he makes some spectacular pick plays making outs and saving potential runs, which is kinda like creating 0.5 a run for the Cubs that he otherwise would not be making when he swings at pitches heading for the stands.

one of them most, if not the most amazing tag moves in MLB. just ridiculous how fast he gets that tag on, and accurately too. If defense vs offense is a wash for Heyward, it's definitely a wash for Javy. That kid will have many, many, many gold gloves.

Just noticed that Joe Buck always opens being by himself in the frame before letting Smoltz step into frame. Had it always been like that? Is that a Fox thing or a Joe Buck ego thing?

Also in my opinion Smoltz is an awesome analyst
