welp, brandon webb won nl cy young. at least hoffman came in 2nd. but it doesnt make much sense since carp had 1 win less than webb but better numbers in strike-outs, e.r.a. and whip plus lead his team to a another central divison title yet came up short in 3rd place. 16 wins isnt even all that impressive to be honest. i kind of figured the voters wouldnt give a relief pitcher the title in this day and age unless they have a gagne-like year.
