The series was good until the last game. The last game is a typical baseball game. 11 dodger players left stranded. Yu giving up runs on the firs 2 innings didn't help.

You have a good point, but Yu is supposed to be a #1 or #2 pitcher on any staff. You're right that the Dodgers blew multiple chances to get back into the game, but Yu was abysmal in Both of his WS starts.

The game 5 debacle should haunt the Dodgers for a long time.

I won't debate he didn't pitch well in either outing because he clearly was off his A game.. Certainly below his normal standard. But again there was a very costly error in the 1st that cost a run. His team left 10 men on base, most were in scoring position with 1 or less outs. Just horrible.

The balls this post season have sucked too. Everyone has claimed that not only are they juiced, but they are way more slick than normal ball. For a pitcher like Yu who relies on a huge curve and slider, he was at a decidedly disadvantage out of the gate. If I recall, the 3 run shot was a slider that literally did not move an inch - leaving Springer with a 82mph fast ball down the gut to unload on.

Edit: I take that last part back. I looked it up and it was actually a 95.8mph FB that he demolished.

We watched every damn game. Made for some late nights. Wife and father in law very upset. Wife still wore her Dodgers hat to the gym today, because she is not a fair weather fan.

Very good series, Dodgers could have easily won. And probably should have. Bullpen finally let them down a few times. I think if they played 100 games, it'd be about 50/50. Just that evenly matched up.

TERRIBLE umping in the 5th game. Called strikes by the ump against the Dodgers were fucking ridiculous. Slick balls also sucked for slider/curve ball pitches. I'm upset the Dodgers lost, but I don't mind Houston winning. Anyone but the fucking Yankees.

And baseball killed Sunday night football, ratings have been up. People claiming nobody was watching, that pre season football gets more views is not very smart.

It definitely built up a lot of hype. Lol, I'm in the Houston area - so I can definitely say this was a big deal.
