Bah. Cruisers are boring and scrape things on the ground when you try to turn.Originally posted by: Zenmervolt

Get a Triumph and show some class
I always prefered Cruisers because on Sportsbikes you are sitting in the Launch position!

True, but if you want to go quickly around corners, you have to keep your feet up and keep some weight over the front wheel. There's a lot of variation in comfort amongst sportbikes thought. The YZF in the first post is a barcalounger compared to a Ducati 916/996/998.Originally posted by: Red Dawn

Those 60's and 70's Triumphs were really made by Kawasaki.Does my '77 T140V Bonneville count ? I miss my '66 bonnie
Yup, I agree. As long as you're riding responsibly and not giving me and other riders a bad name I don't care what kind of bike you're riding. Sportbikes can be a heckuva lot of fun, but I'd rather mess with a car for sporting driving. When I'm on my bike, I just want to cruise and enjoy being part of the scenery instead of watching it go by as though it were on a big screen so a sportbike that would encourage me to wring performance out of it wouldn't be a good choice for my riding style. I just want a nice bike with a big, slow-revving engine with a big fat low-end and midrange.Originally posted by: Fausto

Commence Harley vs Crotchrocket Flamewar!!!
PS- I'm just kidding. I'm a sportbike guy, but don't really have anything against cruisers. Anything with two wheels is good.
