mmmmmm futurama season 2

just bought a dvd player that i set to region 0, so now i can watch dvds that are not released in the US. so i decided to get futurama season 2 dvd set from the uk, and it is incredible. mmm save up another $45 and i can get season 3 from the uk. mmmmm

anybody know why they release these dvds in europe a few months before they do in north america? and why futurama the console game is coming out 14 days earlier in europe than here?

My best guess on the game is that the developers and original publisher are in Europe, so they have a lead in getting marketing negotiations and disc pressing done.

The intention was to get the game released the same day as the season 2 DVD, I think...

Season 2 is coming out in the US at the end of this month, I think. I sure would like me some season 3, though.

Many TV series debut on DVD in Europe before here. This is largely because putting them out on DVD would undercut the ability of the studio to sell syndication rights. Notice that just about all of the series that are out are in syndication (or, like HBO series, have no plans to do so).

Actually, I bought it yesterday at Target (the Futurama Season 2 DVD.....). It was originally slated to come out August 26th.... but it was moved up to the 12th. I have no idea why, though.

But I agree with you--its GREAT. I can't wait to get all 5. (5, right?).
