They stole subscriptions from everybody when they went F2P... now that want people to pay a subscription and get less than what they had when the game came out?
Fool me once...
Yeah, seriously. I actually started replaying it casually, to finish up some of the other class storylines I never finished and to try the new Fallen Empire stuff.
While at first Fallen Empire seems pretty awesome (the story is actually great), but you quickly realize this has to be the worst subscription scam existing in in MMO. It is not entirely released (one chapter per month), so you have to be a subscriber for the month a particular chapter is released if you want instant access to it. Yes, you can wait until it is all out and then subscribe for one month and complete it all, but each chapter is ~10 minutes of content, with most of these current middle stories having no real story content.
...but that's not the worst part. The game play is completely wretched. It's like DA2 all over again--run down hall, fight unavoidable mob, run some more, fight another mob, run some more, story sequence. It is completely anathema to the general game play. It also wrecks classes that use a lot of sneak to avoid unnecessary bullshit. (I prefer playing assassin or operative than can just avoid the bullshit. but these forced mobs zone in and snap you out of your stealth).
And while the story is actually quite compelling and very well conceived (honestly need to wait until all of it is out, because the opening is excellent, and it simply becomes tedious after the first 6 or so chapters), it is really only relevant to Force using characters. If you aren't Jedi or Sith, there really isn't a story-based reason to care about it.
For "which" marvel game? heroes online?
yeah, Marvel Heroes 2016 (now re-branded to "2016"). They always have an event when a related movie is released.
