Correct. I sit still often enough to warrant a free shot on somebody who doesn't know I'm there yet. :twisted:

I think it takes 6 seconds of stillness to "set up" and as far as I am aware firing will still give you away (blip) to arty on the minimap...

It's 5 seconds, yes. However, camo reduces spotting range on you. If you have some fast bastard come up on you, it can give you precious seconds to line up a shot on him before he even notices you're there -despite being, like, 20m from you. Additionally, camo is cheap.

If the tanks like the american stuart (which I know is in the game but I've never looked at) could actually fire both main guns, they could have some utility at the low levels.

Would remind me of playing world war online way back where you'd be in one of those french char-b's pinging away with the small calibur turret gun hoping for some track or other related damage while the big gun is reloading.

ROLLING OUT TWO NEW BATTLE MAPS

Cliff and Komarin will add greatly to the range of your tactical opportunities.

Based upon different geographic locations, the new battlefields provide many-sided gameplay and numerous tactical opportunities. Komarin reflects a tiny village somewhere in the Eastern Europe covered with a spring tide, whereas Cliff is a reference to the coast of Normandy with its lone rocks, small fisherman settlements and endless shorelines.

Adding Komarin and Cliff to the list of maps will encourage players to apply even more teamwork and cooperation because they require a totally different tactical approach than any battlefields that World of Tanks has had to offer so far.

I'm heading out to work soon. I'd rather wait till I can be home to watch how well the DL progresses in case a problem pops up. Tomorrow will be better for me.

Cool, you'll have fun (if you play the superior Russian tanks ).

The download isn't bad but for some reason the install takes forever and doesn't always look like it's making progress. When you start installing it, be prepared with something else to do for 10 minutes
