So are my derping days over on the KV?

And what is with the shit talking lately? It seems once every couple of days some annoying douche has to let me know he doesnt like Derping KVs. Like I care or asked. Last night I got stuck in a high tier game and some pershing player is going on and on about me derping. I have my playstyle he had his. He was going on about how he already got off 4 shots to my 1. Whoopie do, my shot hit a Type 59 for about 400 damage. And I didnt have any target anyways. And guess who died early and wasnt shooting anymore? Yup, Pershing boy.

How will I know if they're not working?

Have the same question because I just started replacing skins. I'd think the patch would just overwrite the existing files no?

I think the amount of shit-talking is about the same. I'm usually the one doing it so can't say I can tell the difference.

Though it's usually for a good reason, don't care if there are derps or not, it's part of the game.

Edit: OTM seems to be back for 7.0 Saw a post on the forums.

FYI - M103/T34 move to premium not happening until 7.2 or later.

Made a post in the General Discussion. A Mod moved it to American Heavies. However, the IS4 armor error discussion remains in the General Discussion category. I must've pissed someone off.

FYI - M103/T34 move to premium not happening until 7.2 or later.

Made a post in the General Discussion. A Mod moved it to American Heavies. However, the IS4 armor error discussion remains in the General Discussion category. I must've pissed someone off.

EU test server has french tank specs in... looks ridiculous. Paper tanks with ridiculous ROF and penetration (236) /alpha (400) damage at tier 7. Looks like tank destroyers for all purposes... and a pain to grind to tier 6.

At tier 8 they get auto loaders, so 2.5 second between rounds x 4 and then 30 seconds to reload the bucket. But the hull and turret thickness is like 100mm...

Only got to play for an hour unfortunately. Played about 5 battles. I like the new screen view of tanks on the field and the improved mini map. Need more time to explore the other new features though. After work tonight I'll check the rest of it out. four day weekend coming up too so I'll probably hit it hard then too.

Bit of a blanket statement there but pretty accurate so far.

AFAIK Overlord has already stated some of the penetration figures are quite erroneous.

The French seem like they'll be zip zoom fanatics, autoloaders which make for ridiculously high damage output over a short time, but not great alpha. Catch them after their 4/6 shot salvo has unloaded and you're looking at a sitting duck.

On the Test Server (RU), I heard of a match where 3 x T10 French Heavies rushed to meet 3 x T10 French Heavies in the middle of a map. By the time they'd got there (64kph top speed i think), they hadn't even loaded their initial shell salvo, akin to arty being spotted by the T-50 before they've even put shell in barrel.

Apparently some smaller tanks get autoloaders. PzII getting 2 shots before reloading etc. but it's very early days.

Anyone tried icon mods on 7.0? PoGS is of particular interest to me. Can't find any info on whether these are still working. I'm not too concerned if not every new prem tank is covered... id at least like to have the 6.7 tanks on there b/c the default icons suck horribly.

Forums indicate OTM works fine on 7.0 (files here: https://github.com/bkon/WoT-OTM) so that's good.

It is 65kph... that's SIXTY FIVE kilometres per hour for a Tier TEN HEAVY TANK.

... Tier 10 french heavy scout!! I also read that these tanks have impressive power to weight ratios as well.... So it'll probably hit that speed very easily, go up hills fast... and depending on the turret rotation speed it might be extremely scary as a hit and run tank.

But they have huge profiles and paper thin turret armor... and even HE arty shells will probably completely penetrate the top and deal full damage.

rofl, first game my thing won't load b/c of mod conflicts and stuff. So I'm being retarded about it and disabling one mod at a time, trying to figure out which one is causing the conflict instead of turning them all off & playing.

I finally get it to load. T-127, Ensk. My team has 3 players left, their team has 9. Fuuuuuuuuuuuu...
Quick glance at minimap tells me that I'm about to get swarmed by 6 tanks simultaneously. But it's ok b/c the T-127 is freaking invulnerable. I start moving around to cover my rear/sides from one attacking direction so I can engage the others... 30 shots later, 6 dead tanks and I still have half health. I go to their base & kill their last arty. Then I find an afk player but my teammates got him.

If they had all been dead I still would've won and gotten Koloborov's (sp) medal too! haha

I just tried my first game after the patch in my arty (M12) and accuracy seems to have gone to crap again. It was barely worth playing before, now it's useless.

Now, for the UI changes... Why did Wargaming think that was an improvement? We can now choose the same as before, none, or adding several characters of information at the cost of a ton of screen real estate. Seriously?

And moving the leave battle button... I get the idea behind it. I, very rarely, occasionally accidentally quit the whole game instead of just the battle. Probably twice in the entire time I've played WoT. But why not move the quit game button? Surely the leave battle button gets used many, many more times. I am much more used to automatically leaving the battle than I am to quitting the entire game. Now I get to accidentally open up the settings after every single battle, until I finally get used to the new system. Nice.

And the chat.

Why in the hell is my own neon green text on top of a background that is a yellow/orangeish color? Who designed that, looked at it, and decided that was good? Was it a joke that accidentally made it into the patch? I mean come on.

Try using + and -.

You have much better minimap options than any mod gave you, unless they changed it since Test #1.

Personally, I can't wait for this patch to come

Hm, I may have missed some of the new minimap options. Regardless, the rest of my points stand. Despite the options being on the right track, they really need to work on the implementation.

The panels showing the various tanks in the matchup should not take up a 1/3 of my screen combined just to show what tank everybody is using. And the coloring on the chat... why?

Third game in I lost my mini map. LOL I was typing a question in chat and instead of pressing enter to activate chat I must have hit Shift instead. So I started typing my question and then when I hit enter again the chat activated. I do this every now and then and have to start over. Anyway next thing I know my mini map is gone and I couldn't figure out how to get it back. Typed in chat but no one bothered to answer. Tried F1 and didn't find anything there. Looked in settings. Nothing. Entered a new battle and it was restored. Damn if I know how I hid the thing. Glad it restored though. Never had that happen before. Some key I pushed must hide it. Just glad it is back to normal. Getting to a point where I need a manual for this game and what does what. LOL

I got the 90mm gun for my Slugger tonight. I don't have the second turret yet though. I was never a fan of the TDs in this game but I like the Slugger and it's moving turret. Slow as hell to turn though as is the turret. I crossed over from the Easy 8 so I skipped all the other TDs. I have a lot to learn still but I'm liking its play style. Nice to not have to move whole tank to spin gun around. I just wish it spun faster. It doesn't do well against the big tanks but in mid level tier fights it performs very well. I like to snipe and this tank fills that hunger pretty nicely. A shame they don't have a 105mm or a 120mm version of it. That would be so cool.

Which is like always b/c who doesn't love being bottom tank tier 8 battles. But now it's bounce city. Forums recommended trying to aim for where turret meets hull or other armor weakspots, but it didnt seem to make a difference?

Is the blast radius for the 76mm so small that it's basically useless with HE?

yea i noticed that too, i fired 5 rounds directly at the side of an is-4 from my 4502 A and they all bounced.
im guessing HE is almost useless now? at least give me 1% damage please :\
