can you throw that picture up on pics.bbzzdd.com? Most commercial photo hosting sites, along with youtube, are blocked at work here and its a SLOW day.

Hopefully that works for you

I get a kick out of people like you. You think you should have some major advantage over folks who've been playing for months and you jump up and down redfaced throwing a temper tantrum when you're not king of the hill.

I'm not even going to bother explaining anything to you.

Whine more and rage quit, then. Go be irrational somewhere else.

If you dont want to explain anything why did you even post? Did you even read my post? Judging from your reply you didnt. You just focused on what pissed you off the most: "whining". But why was I whining? Clearly you didnt even try reading.

Excuse me. There's a huge thread here full of information. Don't bitch about us not explaining anything when YOU aren't willing to take the time to read what's already there.

The first time you come into this thread, you just bitch bitch bitch.

Guess what? We don't want to hear it. If you're going to be a fucking cry baby, just save us all the trouble and get lost.

There are plenty of people here who are dealing with the same game you are and don't seem to become irrational over it. Pay attention, you might learn something. Just coming in here to senselessly bitch about shit that you obviously don't understand yet (which are explained earlier in this thread, by the way) is doing the rest of us, who've taken an effort to compile such a thread, a disservice.

Well...

My KV was TK'ed by an IS-3 who wanted me to stop capping when we had about 6 people left and they had 1. I was about 70% of the way through when they went from 3 tanks to 1... and we didn't know where that was.

Railed two shots into me and blew me up. I took two screenshots of him and I've emailed a report out to WoT about him.

Okay, DLed the game. Took 11 minutes at about an average of 2Mb/s. Install took maybe 3 minutes. Didn't time it. Went and grabbed the updates to bring game up to latest build. All toll took maybe 25 minutes and that was taking my sweet time. So I'm in officially now.

Played through one battle and I was confused to say the least. I read up on what I'm supposed to do and all that but what confused me was that I was in my little starter MS1 as a Russian and my team mates around me had German crosses on their tanks! Germans as team mates? I thought my team mates were suppose to be Russian as well? LOL Really had me puzzled. Almost shot first one I saw LOL Good thing I didn't or I'd have probably got cussed at pretty good. Anyway I fired 5 shots and didn't kill anyone but our team easily won with few casualties. I confess I kinda hung back and used terrain to keep my butt alive. I'll get more aggressive as I go i suppose. Still learning the commands and all that.

Can someone explain to me why I had team mates in German marked tanks when my tank was Russian and plainly showing the Soviet red Star? LOL

damn, guess the screenshot didn't take but my first fight as a wespe had me clear about 6k after buying more ammo with a nice end of game screenshot (or should have been) of 5 kills and another 4 damaged.

Teams are mixed, always

Makes it more fun this way imo.

Glad to see you there... and get your backside into ATOT 'channel' on there.

Well, that explains a lot. LOL I guess it makes sense so its not so one sided. Just feels odd is all when in battle. I'll remember to get in channel next time. Still learning how things work. The guide linked on first page explains a lot about how to do basic things. I been reading it some. Just need to gain experience on the battlefield. ;-)

These guys don't fool around, either. They ban folks right and left for TK.

Talking is always pretty informative, too. We have a TS and Vent server to use, volunteered by a very generous forum member. I have both and would jump on the one of your choice and play some arounds with you, but I'm taking off shortly.

The game is a lot more fun in a Platoon, working together.

It's also fun when you recognize names instead of 29 other strangers

I'm going to have to go ahead and buy a new headset and mic I guess. Been saying I'll get one all year and till now didn't really need one. Time to feed the economy again, I guess.

If I'm not mistaken, they've said that nation vs. nation battles are coming later.

But I could just be misremembering.

read something about it, said in general nations didn't matter but certain maps would use a nation specific ruleset for team creation.

If you can apologize really fast, WoT usually won't get rid of you. It's the screenies with angry "stfu noobs, die teammates!" that get folks banned.

I wouldn't worry about it (I have my share), just make sure you say sorry

Ignoring the T26's rear end, it's a very fun tank. Especially when fully upgraded. They're fast, have great turret rotation and refire rate, and can actually do damage to a KV

I feel like I'm punishing myself playing the German tank destroyer line. But I really want to play a Jagdpanther. Any tips for tank destroyers? I understand that you have to play defensively. But even when hidden and with a good field of fire, the enemy sometimes seems to appear right under your nose.

Get the camo net asap. When you park, you can turn right and left without revealing yourself. Forward or backward or firing will paint you on your enemy's screen. Find a good place to defend, camp in a bush with camo, and don't be the only tank there defending.

Just played a couple of matches with the PanzerJager I and found it embarrassingly difficult and easy at the same time... but some of what you experience there rings true even to the upper tiers (from what I've seen of my own TD killing).

You need support. TD's (especially Russian ones) have next to no side or rear armour, turn like a very slow to turn thing and have next to no turret traverse so if you don't have a screen of tanks which keep your enemies in front of you, you're in trouble.

You can be defensive or aggressive but you are not a spearhead. Tank Destroyers are themselves a support vehicle and work well when sitting behind a coordinated defense or attack, picking off targets of opportunity or scaring the bejeebus out of a defensive line of tanks who are being pressed by your side. Leading an assault is a quick way to ending your round.

Camouflage is your friend. You are an extremely dangerous combatant on the field and thus can be the target for tanks and artillery alike. Your armour can't take too much damage so you need to play smart. Hide yourself until you are comfortable with your aim when attacking... Hide yourself until nearly the last moment when defending. If you are spotted, assess what was firing at you and move accordingly... ie. if it's a light tank, you're probably in a good position to kill it... if it's artillery, move away and sit somewhere for a few seconds when safe to do so.

That's about all of the advice I can think of really. I'd consider thinking of yourself as artillery but slightly less vulnerable and without the finger of God.

The JagdPanzer IV still makes my T-43 worried as I know it can put a hole in me.

Roll on my Marder!!!

Yes, I'm enjoying my fully upgraded T-26. Its way better than the starter tank(MS-1). I need 50k credits now for the T-46 which is next in the tree line.

Does anyone know if there is a comprehensive guide for the Russian heavy tanks? I haven't seen one yet and looking. Edit: Okay, never mind. Found one on WoT forums.
