My feeling is, if you don't like the upgraded/trained su-26, you won't like arty.

Eh... depends. The turret is really, really nice. But it also has crap range, and the damage isn't particularly amazing - not that it is bad, it just isn't great. Range means a lot for arties, especially now that tracers are back in.

For a good low tier arty to try out, I'd suggest the T57. The next one, M37 should also give you a pretty good feel for arty.

Despite going up the Russian line right now, I'd stay away from it if you are trying to figure out if you like the arty playstyle. The SU-18 is horrible, the SU-26 doesn't really play like any other arty, and as I'm finding now, the SU-5 is also pretty miserable.

yea for russian just do the KV --> S-51 if you want to do arty, that's what i did.
i gave up on the US line for arty after getting the M7 priest, that thing was a pos

Christ, fucking horrible time with the Tiger P this afternoon. Ugh, went from like avg xp > 1000 & 70&#37; win rate to <50% win rate, avg xp 800. Just loss after loss after loss after loss; so godamn ridiculous. These kinds of huge winning/losing streaks are not reasonable. If it wasn't lameass tier10 matches then it was retard teams doing retard things or BOTH. Does the game make you lose when you're doing well? lol b/c my tiger H on the other hand was doing quite well! haha ><

Oh come now, the 3001p wasn't THAT bad after I got all the upgrades. The engine upgrades really help even though the horsepower increases seem minimal. I mean this thing is worse than the vk3601 in every way but it's still playable. I even found myself enjoying it at times. The short88 is a solid gun at tier6. But I can't imagine it being fun at tier7 in the VK3002DB Anyway, 3001p is NOTHING like the Lee. Godamn the Lee was awful. A-20 too. And Pz III Ausf A from what I've heard.

Yes, it was. For me anyway and I played it two times thru. Once before the tier line up change and once after. Both times fully upgraded too. The two tanks I have hated the most in this game is the Lee and the 3001P. That is just my own opinion though based on my own experiences. Others may have different opinions and that is their right but for me them are the two I dislike the most since official release.

Chaffe is OP! They did something to the MM that makes the Chaffee end up in a lot more battles where it is in the top half of the list of tanks. I've even been #2 a few times. You can completely terrorize a field of tier 6-7 and below tanks with the Chaffee.

1000 avg exp? Damn. My highest tank,T29, is just breaking 500. Probably can't expect much more with the amount I've been playing (not much), but still.

The range is the main issue; the damage isn't top. I'm not saying the SU-26 isn't better in some things. I'm saying I think it's good enough that it's a good gauge if you like arty.

Other arty add in longer reloads, and the resetting of the target constantly as you move the target, etc., so that I think if you don't like the SU-26 you're unlikely to like arty.

If you do like the SU-26, you might like other arty more, e.g., Hummel and GW Panther.

I liked the SU-26 a lot. It's just a fun little arty. No range, limited ammo, limited damage, but it aims pretty fast and its accurate. Everything in the US arty line below the M12 is bad, with the worst being the Priest.

Wow, beast. I have no clutch, haha. I was 6v1 in my Tiger H once and I made so many mistakes--exposing weak armor, shooting too low, etc. If i had made one less mistake I would've won.

UGH this whole afternoon has been fucking ridiculous MM. 1000xp/45k? Lose. 5(!) tier10 tanks & 3 tier8 arty?! LOSE. If the tier is reasonable enough for me to kick some ass, my team dies anyway. If I'm faced with only tier9 & 10 enemies, my team dies. I've lost like >90&#37; of my games this afternoon, jesus fucking christ.

How the hell can anyone maintain decent stats on pub matches when shit MM fucks you constantly?

Played a good four hours tonight. Finally got the T-32 researched. Not sure if I'm going to try it or not. The T-32 doesnt sound too promising to me. Spent most of my time playing in my T-59. Been a few days since I had so jumped in and fired it up. Glad i did too. Had lots of good fights where I did very well. Made some good coin too. Best cred score I could nab was 92k. Still can't seem to hit that 100k mark for some reason with the T-59. I can do it occasionally with my Lowe though. Anyway was a good night for me. Would have preferred to play my T-43 and grind it but kept getting into these multi T-59 matches so decided to play mine as well. Can't beat them join em I guess. LOL

i need to buy a T59 soon, my E75 is 30k away from the E100 and the 4502P is still a ways off but i can't afford either right now as i intend to keep both tier 9's. they're fun.

My T34 is a GIANT pos. Seriously, if I'm in a tier 9 heavy, I shouldn't be afraid of a tier 8 heavy, right? But noooo, this giant pile of crap can barely take out a tier 8 heavy before its dead. Tier 9 heavy you say? Not a chance, unless the driver is stupid. 100&#37; crew, got it. Know where to hit, yep. Big gun, welll, no, but I've got the craptastic 105. Doesn't matter. This POS can bet killed easily by a god damned E8 (yeah, that happened last game...pen from front).

Sadly, I feel far more confident in my T32 or even the T29.

I'm so close to buying a T59 too, but my hatred of them gets in the way. My freebie T34 premium is on the way!

Just bought a T20. This might be in the running for shittiest stock tanks, especially b/c the MM in all it's fucking infinite wisdom puts me in tier10 matches. 5 games, 5 losses, fucking great. God, 16k exp to get tracks and then turret. This is going to suck.

MM needs to include modules. M1A2 in a battle with mostly tier9/10 tanks is RIDICULOUS. The game is no fucking fun if you can only damage 3 enemy tanks.

edit: wow a win! A fucking worthless POS win. Fuck Komarin. Enemy team didn't defend their cap AT ALL. What a waste of a daily double.
