I know they said all they did was rasied match level for Type-59's but now that 7.1 is here I find that shells don't bounce as much as they use to. Hell, you had to be careful even in a Lowe as to where to hit them without a bounce. Now in the Lowe I find the sides are softer than before. The front of the tank and front of turret are still hard as before. Maybe it's just me, but I have killed a lot more Type-59's as of late.

It is just you. I have a Lowe and T-59 and there is no change I have seen. With the T-59 you will be thrown in with big tanks more often now and they have guns that can do bigger damage so that is probably what you are experiencing.

No idea, I just bought the Type 59 last night Or are you talking about the derp KV? I havent noticed anything different in 7.1. 7.0 made it a little less reliable on one shotting some tier 4s.

I will always keep the derp KV due to the laugh factor of one shotting people. At least until they nerf it.

yea sorry, i meant the derp kv, i notice it doesn't do near as much damage anymore to tier 8,9,10

those tiers don't even fear kv's now, they just roll, take the hit and destroy me :\

I have luckily rarely been in battles with a lot of tier 8-9 tanks in my Derp. I have about 290 games in it now. But when i was, it was a rarity that I did much damage to them. I would typically try to use other tanks as a shield or hide and shoot and get as many hits as I could before being popped. I can still hit an IS4 in the front for about 20% of their life. Which is pretty damn good for a Tier 5

the 107 still does good damage on side hits, and it can probably penetrate a t-34 frontally on the hull. Derp was a crutch and great for the lulz factor but not the only redeeming factor about the KV.

Also does the "triple exp" seem a bit low to anyone? I just had a pretty good game in my lowe and only earned 2600 exp after a win after a triple. I was expecting 3000s because I took down a lowe and a ferdy all by myself plus damaged a bunch of other tanks.

Got my first ever heavy the US T1. Have been playing light and medium only, now this is refreshing, especially when it's top tier in MM. First time cracked 2k xp without multiplier and premium, and first time earning battle hero. I one man guarded the choke point to our cap against 4 light/medium, and destroyed 3 and damaged 1. Then went ahead and finished the last arty to win the match. Can never do that in my E8 medium.

Sadly, once you get your ass handed to you a few times by a KV, you won't like the T1 very much. Its severely outgunned by the KV. Even worse, its successor (M6) is also outgunned by the KV's successor, the KV3.

I've got my KV and the KV3 both still in my garage and I run them both every other day or so. I sold the T1 and M6 as fast as I could get rid of them. The T29, however, is still in my garage and its a great tank (so is the E8 - you may want to keep the E8).

so i broke down and got a T59, needed the gold to extend premium and convert a bunch of free XP anyways, so with that i have bought the maus and object 212 also.

i've spent about 300 total on this game so far LOL. but i figure i play it every night so as far as entertainment goes, a 1.5 hr movie is 12 bux, so this is still worth it

I know it's not a great tank among its class. Since I've gone that far in the US line I'm going to grind it for a while to get the T29. For the Russians I'll have to start from the beginning.

Question about the french amx 50 120. I watched this morning as one on my team shot a fernidand twice in near succession. I looked at the guns for that tank and all three of them have a reload between 6 and 10 seconds. Seemed like it fired way faster than that. Seemed closer to the M1A2 on my E8.

Well yes they do have a refire rate comparable to normal tanks but with the Autoloader twist.

My Lorraine has a 6 shell autoloader which fires 100mm shells every 3.33 seconds. The caveat is that it takes me 49.26 seconds to reload those 6 shells (with 100% crew and vents).

The AMX 50 100 that has the same top gun I believe reloads it's autoloader slightly faster but fires each 100mm shell every 2.5 seconds.

Check out this playlist of videos of my AMX 13 90. You will see that I can fire shells quite fast (2.5s between each shot) and then have to become passive whilst I reload (40s'ish)

Ahh interesting. The 120mm on that tank looks pretty nice and the ability to shoot that quickly back to back is pretty nice as well.

Sold me on trying the french light\medium line

I'm not sure what to play to get some good credits short of getting a premium tank.

M4, PzIV, E8 all seem 'ok', in the 15k range. Long way to 10 million for some new tanks.

I'm going to exclude the scout tanks from this conversation because I'm not really up on them. I have a T50-2 but I dont play it much. I'll let others chime in about how well they do on an average win/loss game. They are a viable way to make good money if you are good at them.

If you are getting 15m-20m after repairs then you are doing good in the average sense. That is about the best average you are going to make in the better tanks while grinding up. You will make more than that in a good game obviously but not all your games will be good. Talking about overall averages here. The only way to make twice that on a regular average basis without even surviving a battle and the team losing (basically just showing up on the battlefield) is a premium gold tank. Basically your Tier 4-7 tanks is where the most money is at I have found. Not counting the scouts.

man this type 59 pours money.
played 4 games so far
loss - killed 2 = 59k credits
loss - killed 2 = 53k credits
win - killed 1 = 95k credits
win - killed 1 = 101k credits

i can finally get rid of my tier 5's i've been using.
last day to grab a type 59 guys if you want one, i would say it's definitely worth the 7500 gold.

I would if i didn't already have a lowe and have played the t-44 and t-54 to death in beta. Didn't even bother getting a t-54 this time around, though it's researched and I have the money and crew ready to go. I'm making about 30-50k on average a game in the lowe without premium (100k+ on real good games), so that's good enough for me.

Speaking of which, teach me how to M4 Sherman!

It's completely stock and I cry when I play it. I almost like the upgraded lee better than the sherman. Should I run the 105 or the 76mm upgun?

Are you premium?

I make tons on my Panther II and on my E-75. I stay alive and deal damage. On my E-75 I can get 60+k on a win and 40k profit.

I broke down and bought a T-59. Holy crap, I've been missing out on the money. I was grinding my way through the cash and I easily have made 250k+ in just a few matches. This is insane. Not to mention the fact that I can convert all the experience into Free EXP if I wish with the gold I have. Should have done this when I first started.

Definitely get the 105mm for the M4 Sherman. It will make grinding a little easier since it does more damage and more damage means more creds and xp. I was using the 76mm on mine and miserable thinking it wasn't much better than the Lee tank but then someone suggested to me using the 105mm. I got the 105mm and then it wasn't as bad as with the 76mm. The M4 is not a great tank so you need to do as much damage as possible before dying.

You should see what its like having a Lowe and a T-59 and spend a few hours farming creds. Just switching back and forth between tanks as you die, if you die, in one battle then jumping into the other tank. Cha-Ching, Baby!

they didn't stick together? i find it really hard to win when there's 4+ and they stick together. it's weird with a t59 now, they do all tend to stick together for the most part.

if only people could do it with tanks that are diff it would make this game more enjoyable instead of rambo'ng all over the place
