The 105 is not accurate beyond ~250 meters, it's really a crapshoot after that range since the gun is NOT center heavy at all unlike the russian guns. I've used it on the T-29 and T-32 and it's woefully inadequate and you have to REALLY REALLY aim to damage tier 9s (excluding Is8s of course). That being said both t-29 and t-32s are great tanks, though the t-32 certainly feels underpowered.

Selling the lowe is probably a bad idea. I regularly make 40-80k credits per game on the lowe, slow as it may be the gun is terrific and its a sniper anyway.

Should have kept the Lowe. I have the KV5. And as worthless as I think it is. I still use it when grinding credits when my Type is stuck in battle. It can still be lulz worthy if it can get a running start down a hill and smash something.

!? I loved my 29. I don't know how you can call it inaccurate. But different tanks for different folks!

I have to agree, I loved my T29. Its not all about the gun though. The turret is impenetrable for pretty much any tiered tank. Its probably one of the best tier 7s just for the fact that the equal and lower tiered pubbies have no idea how to deal with you if you are hulled down.

The playstyle for a T-29/32/34 is very different than most tank. With the impenetrable turret and great gun depression, its capable of taking advantage of map terrain features other tanks can't. Once physics are in, I can see it being able to find even better map nooks and crannies to hull down in.

One thing to remember about these tanks is they are sitting ducks out in the open. The front hull is marginal at best, and the sides are like paper.

I was simply tired of the Lowe after more than 600 games.

The type gives 25(on a hard loss without doing damage) to 130k (good win, was like a shooting gallery for me) and I love playing it. 219 games, 61% WR plus Ace Tanker.

As was said...different tanks for different people
I like all around madness with the Type/Pershing, and long range sniping, now done with my new Tiger. The T29 simply fell somewhere inbetween and just got me killed early in battle. It is a shame because I'd love to get the M103.

Gave in and free exp'd my turret tracks and gun on the M103, the first 120 just isn't cutting it. Now it's a death machine... the tier X gun is just so lovely.

Let me know how it goes. I researched the M103 but havent bought it yet. Took a day off from gaming today. Give the old fingers a rest. Not sure when I'll play WoT again. Sometimes I go a few days without playing it.

The difference between the first and 2nd gun is night and day. The 1st gun is good for fighting tier 9s, but the 2nd gun is GREAT for fighting everything. Faster aim time and reload, and it's punchy enough that I can pen IS-7s frontally reliably.

The tracks also make a big difference in mobility. Definitely hit my top speed a lot more and I traverse much more quickly. I am getting ammo damaged a lot though, and I lose my gun every other arty strike. Funny thing is the gun is good enough at 200 m even when its damaged so sometimes I don't bother repairing it.

Turret ring gets damaged a LOT. This thing has a huge turret ring hit box compared to other tanks. I've lose my turret ring at least 5-6 times now, almost as bad as the gun.

Will let you know how much the final engine improves the tank, got about 30k to go on it.

I love the Löwe...Lakeville....an obj 268 is spotted 498 meters away from me....with the side to me.
I fire, hit, pen and do +300 damage 3 times i an row before arty knocks him ba-da-boom...didn't spot me at all...the gun is fun...and it can actually do some good PAB...and the hull is weirdly good for the sidescrape...BIG tracks..get tracked a lot...but that dosn't take any of my HP...try it out

5 games, 5 assaults, 5 games filled with 5 big arties.

This fucking game makes me want to uninstall sometimes.

8.0 cant come fast enough. The ability to drop assaults from your list of game types is worth the patch in of itself. NM the fact we get physics and better looking graphics.

I played a little today. Just in my Lowe though(still havent bought the M103). I was in a mood to sit back and snipe and make cash so got into my Lowe. I really like playing during the day especially in the early afternoons. Far fewer jerks online then. I get more winning battles too. Anyway I was thinking of going straight for second gun before anything else on the M103. I been told I can get it without tracks upgrade. I took a quick look on the forums and the M103 can be fast paced researched by grabbing second gun, radio, and engine, and then researching the M110E5. Totally skipping tracks, turret, and last gun. Not sure I want to do that though. I kinda want to experience the whole upgraded tank. I'm in no particular hurry anyway.

How are you going to progress?

The m103 is a fun fun tank, so I think I'll just elite it. I used free exp to get the 2nd gun though. I hate playing against big arties though, they hit you for 200 damage more than any other tank of the same tier. One shot from a gwpanther usually takes off around 400-600 in my other tanks... on the M103 it'll do 600 easy, usually more. A t92 hit is almost certain death.

I went 2nd gun, played about 10 games in it and decided it wasn't good enough. So I free exped tracks, turret and the 2nd gun. Currently working on engine and will get radio last.

Speaking of M103... one shotted one earlier today in my s-51, along with a poor T-30. Nerf arty.

You know when you are having a bad night, you pull out the tried and true tank of your choice to get some wins. That tank for me is my M2 LT. I was platooned with Lurker and we did a decent job in our bigger tanks but I think our tier 2's went 100%.

The last game I had was an epic stand of my tank as our team crumbled on himmelsdorf. Unfortunately Lurker died in his BT2 early and I had to clear the hill myself. Then I had to try to save the rest of our dying team. In the end I did ~1050 damage, killed 11 enemies, took 67% base defender, and got 1800 exp straight up.

I misunderstood at first, maybe someone else will too, but it's 3x crew experience, not tank experience. So your crew will learn 3x faster, but tank rates are still the same with 2x for first win, normal after that. 3x crew xp all weekend isn't that bad I guess.

And that was the last game played in this game. Cant stand the fucking stupidity anymore. Just lost a game in my E50 where we had 10 players left and they had two and they managed to cap our base. Done with it, too many games out there that are quality and the ranks arent filled with tards.

Finished my career with a 53% win rate, 73% hit ratio, 4703 games, 5234 kills, most kills 9 in a single game, 31% survival rate. Crapload of other awards. Good bye and good riddance.

My T34 has crew with two full skills and the third seems to be always stuck at ~87%. Am I crazy, or do they not advance? They get three full skills, right? Maybe I just play too many tanks.
