I don't know about you but I can't wait to shoot my t-50-2 off a hill and do some sweet jumps.

The T50-2 is to be replaced supposedly when 8.0 launches. I havent yet heard what they are replacing it with. Internal testing showed it flipped and rolled a lot with physics applied so they are going with something else.

I will have to see... haven't read anything about the test server and how its affecting the t-50-2. From the few gameplay videos I've seen the T-50-2 is a bit more sluggish but since it bleeds speed when it turns, its no longer the motorcycle it is now but also won't flip over. It's still by far the most nimble scout though.

I love my E-75. Even after the frontal engine nerf, I'm apocalypse on wheels when i drive this thing. The KT is just a stepping stone to get to it, and its still very nimble and relocates well despite the low top speed. Armor is still good too and it gets to be top a lot of times. You won't make money with it though, the gun fires too fast and is too expensive.

T-32 is very situational, and the frontal turret armor is no longer invulnerable with the flat cheeks and commander's hatch on top. I loved the tank, but frankly at the end of the grind i was a bit tired with it.

Comparing the Leopard to the VK2801 is bad....really bad...you are comparing ~70 damage(Leopard 50mm gun) per shot to ~400 damage per shoot (VK2801 105 mm gun with HE)....please don't...those two tanks ar enothing alike...and are not even supposed to be driven the same way...my head hurts with the silliyness of this...please stop.

You cannot hit a T-50 in your leopard, pen him..and then ram him...killing him...if tank was a full health.
You CAN hit a T-50-2 in your VK2801, pen him...and if that dosn't kill him...just ram him...he'll be dead...even if he had full health.

After this nerf of the "breaking the laws of physics" T-50-2...I'm going to be hunting them like a madman in my VK...no more outrunning me!

Well 8.0 is patching this morning. Thats alot sooner than I though it was going to go live.

I also love how they are dealing with the tier 8 arty problem. They just sent the repair costs through the roof by ~50+%. I rarely play my 261 these days anyway, guess it'll gather dust except when its needed for CW now.

And I sell tanks often...if I don't like their playstyle...gridning tanks are:

JagdPanther (to get the annoying JagdPantherII)
Ferdinand (To get JagdTiger)
Tiger (To get Tiger II)
GW panther (To get GW Tiger)

The rest are elite..and I play them to get credits, experince points..and to keep up-to-date and fresh on their "playstyle".

My favourite tank to play:
VK2801 with 105 mm HE...the nemisis of a T-50-2 or any stupid frog tank scout

I was referring to the turning speed only. Fast in a straight line but slow to turn is how I would describe a VK2801, at least as compared to other scout vehicles. I currently own both, and I don't rank scout vehicles by their guns.

PzII luchs has a gun that pens good...for it's tier it's VERY powerfull

Dude, cut the pedantic crap. There's no need for that here. This is a game thread, not politics or off topic.

My first comment above stated that with reduced turning, maybe it should get a better gun to compensate. Here, I'll quote it for you.

Just so you understand what I'm highlighting here, the T-50-2 has the weakest gun of all of the tier 5 scouts because it has incredible speed and turning ability. Take away the turning ability and maybe it gets a better gun, maybe something like the (much better) gun on the VK2801 but not quite as good as the Chaffee.

Seriously, no scout should be shooting their gun all that often in high tier games. You are are a much more vital part of the team by staying alive and lighting people up, and/or finding and killing arty.

T-50-2 has a high dps rapid firing machine gun with high penetration. I can kill Tiger 2s, and on the odd occasion I can penetrate the E-75's side armor. The 105 derp on the VK2801 is GREAT for shooting artillery because it will quite often penetrate, but its not accurate and its slow.

Rant on 8.0:

Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to change the whole entire way the tech tree behaves? The new interface is a cluster fuck and its impossible now to open up 2 separate windows to compare tech trees. And if I want to check german gun penetrations, I have to CLOSE my current window, click on a german tank and slowly trot through the fucking tech tree to find the gun I want.

Who thought this was a good fucking idea?

I havent played since the weekend. Downloading 8.0 now. 1.26GB so must be it. I figured they would have a bigger lead up to it before launch but guess not. Its here.

Edit: They nerfed the T110E4. I heard they would.

I just teamviewer'd into my home system to start the update...love that graphic on the installer of the tanks hitting each other and lifting up.

I'm sure sure if I should be intrigued or terrified by this update.

Yeah, they found a way to get more coin out of people with the new camo system. Played 4 battles won 3 so not too bad for a test run. Not sure I like the new lighting system. Its like its too bright. Makes me squint to see. Might need to change my monitor settings. Never had to do that before. Also be prepared to change your game, graphics, markers, etc., settings because they reset everything back to default.

First impression, I don't like the feel of the new game at all.

My t-50-2 felt like a medium, and that's not mostly from the traverse nerf.

A few games with the t-50-2 later, the reason why it has NO mobility now is because it drifts like a fucking rally car. Your tank is off the ground half the time and when you turn you drift like a bad racing movie. There's 0 traction on the ground, and the slightest turn means this thing is drifting. Going to shelve this tank. It's like the pre-patch A-20 but worse, there's no reason to play this tank anymore since you can't gain any traction on the ground.

On the other hand, the new bounce sounds are awesome. BUT it's less noticible so you can't tell really if someone's shooting at you unless its a big caliber gun. The new battle result screen is superb and has a lot of information (finally put in damage dealt and exp earned for each tank).

The new graphics and lighting is nice, the desert is now actually bright like its supposed to be and himmelsdorf actually is not gloomy anymore.

For those not liking their tanks in 8.0 I would suggest not selling them just yet. Most likely there will be tweaks in the near future so you may want to just garage them for now. Not like it costs anything to store them anyway.

How are you guys liking the new lighting? Seems awful bright to me. I didnt play many maps however so I probably just need to get used to it. I'll play some more tonight when I get home.

My t-50-2 was racing for arty with a t-44 after me. As I got close the road was uneven, and suddently the tank was airborne and landed to broken tracks, letting the t-44 shoot.
