Yeah, I just got my first T9, a T30, and the arty fests are making me want to rage. Of course the arty killing tanks are mostly just terrible players, which makes it even worse lol. I've enjoyed playing my arty, and am about 70k from a T92, but the arty fests are really just stupid.

how's the t30 so far? i'm about 50k away from the t28 proto, i HATE the t25/2
it's gun is so underwhelming

The t30 is great, if you can get used to not getting shot, play very stealthily. Love my t110e4.

I didn't like the T30. It's gun, although very powerful, has a huge curse with ghost shots. You aim, you shoot, and nothing. No one knows where the shell went. it just dissappears into nowhere. Expect it to happen a lot. 40% of the time in fact. I've even seen it happen at fairly close range. Closest I seen it happen is 110m. Very frustrating. Arty love to target them because they are not that fast and it gives them lots of xp. Using camo with it doesn't help much. Many tanks can circle strafe you not to mention do damage fairly easy. It does better in cities where arty is weak and lots of strong walls to block shots.


When it does hit an enemy though Ka-Boom! Does lots of damage. Its slow loading unfortunately. It was nerfed pretty badly back when it came out. It does lead to the T110E4 however and that's a good TD. Only get the T30 if you want the T110E4 is my advice.

I got tracks first. Engine does make this thing super nimble though.

I'm just a poor 51% player slowly improving, but as they say, in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

The T26 later told me to STFU after I kindly suggested moving next to a nearby rock to block a T20 who was circling him.

heh i'm @ 51% also since im 100% pub and no matter what you do, if your team sucks you're gonna lose. i suicide a lot when i'm bored tho, especially in the type59 since i get credits for dying in ~15 seconds

Those are the most depressing kind of matches. I get into a game and see our 3 top tanks are red and orange, and the other team is a platoon from ANVIL/HAVOK/PURPL/etc, I know we have no fucking chance unless there's 5 arty each side.

so what do I do? Shoot as many of them as possible before dying in a sea of flames. Inevitably I just end up camping because none of the pubbies are worth saving and I can't kill 3 tier 8 unicorns myself.

yup, way to many matches where i've taken out anywhere from 3-7 tanks and yet my side gets steamrolled. i'm sure if i actually cared about every match like it meant something my win % would be a lot higher

The 183 and I have a love/hate relationship. I one shot 3 different tanks yesterday and we still got steamrolled. Granted, they were 2 T34's and a JT, but getting rid of 3 tanks on one side should have meant we could roll easier. I did 6500 damage that game but we still lost the side I was on. The other damage I did was finishing off an E3 and a T95.

Just got the Maus...holy crap this thing can take hits. And talk about Arty magnet...3-4 arties trying to kill me while one whole side gets destroyed. It's funny and sad at the same time, because my damage is crap and I am the slowest thing out there.

i haven't touched my maus or e100 , they are just the worst tier X's right now.
all the new guns can pen them, armor means nothing now. and the e100's top gun unless you're using gold, can't pen shit either

I've steel walled about half my games so far. People still have issues with them...TD's are the only ones that really put a hurt on, but slightly angeling makes even them bounce. Now if they throw gold...all bets are off.
