I was told that the only real way to get my win rate up was to join a clan. That 47% was not really bad for someone who only plays pub. I have switched to coffee and gold rounds in my 155/55 and my win rate in that is like 54%. Not near as many matches in my fv304 but its over 60%. The damn brit heavy line screwed me for a year.
This is going to sound harsh, I am going to try to not be over the top. I have no idea who told you that 47% is not really bad. For comparison sake, you have to actively hurt your team to do worse than 45% (AFKers and bots manage 45%).
If you put a bit of effort in it, there is NO REASON everybody can not be at 53% as there are enough deadbeat useless POS crap players in the world licking on windows and loading HE in their pattons armed with the short 105 to get the losing end of the battles.
I have plateaued in this game at 60% win rate. I can maintain that soloing, I can boost that a bit by platooning. Platooning with crappy players or listening to bad advice from shitty clans (ARMED, IOC) will not make you better, it will in fact reinforce the wrong play style and you will get worse and worse.
If you really want to get better, don't join a clan right now if you are truly a 47%er. Any clan that would have you will not teach you anything. Instead, watch some streams from decent players (don't watch amazing players play yet, learn the basics first).
I have said it elsewhere, I will platoon with ANYBODY as long as they are not wearing tin foil hats (IE the MM is out to screw me, win rate is luck, and all that other complete bullshit) AND you must use teamspeak (free program, but you need a mic). I play most nights after 6pm EST until about 10pm. If you want to platoon let me know and I will find you in game.
Oh and ALL ARTY MUST DIE. Seriously if you are only playing arty then don't bother contacting me.
1) Arty can not carry, if the team starts to lose you can't hold a flank, or prop it up.
2) Arty is boring as hell and with some maps it is completely useless.
3) Arty is massively RNG dependent.
4) Arty is a cancer to the gameplay that forces players to not be seen or hug rocks.
Now, I have two arty. I played them for the first time in over a year a couple of weeks ago. The so called arty nerf wasn't. The things still hit like atomic missiles. It was still easy as hell to predict movements. Other than RNG determining if my shots would hit or not, it was still massively easy.
