I can't win to save my life in my Bat Chat. Worst luck in that thing. My overall win rate is around 53 percent, but the batchat is 44 percent.

that's like me in the obj 261 (44%)altho that's team dependent as you can't carry in an arty.
my batchat is 49%

my worst is the foch155 however, since the nerf i've dropped to a stellar 43% ugh. can't get a win. it's so bad i've stopped playing it.

The update for this game still won't load for me. I keep getting an error. I suppose I should delete the WoT folder and reinstall??

I thought maybe I had bad HD sectors but I passed all the SMART tests.

yes i would reinstall, one of my friends had that issue where no matter what it would not update.

Yes the M103 is a fun tank to play. It's a fairly solid tank and does some serious damage.

I don't know. I always found that the people in M103's were idiots on my team or even the enemy team. Maybe I have just never seen a good player in one before. Most of the time I see them in the battle report at the end with only having done a couple hundred damage before they were killed (or no damage at all). I have also never had a problem doing damage against that tank. There are weak points in the armor just about everywhere, and even if there isn't a good angle of attack on the tank, just change the ammo you use and you don't have a problem in a tier 7 or tier 8 tank fighting it.

well once people get the E5, there's no reason to keep the m103 anymore. it's an ok tank, i kept mine just to keep a crew trained for whatever american line comes out next.

I have had an E5 unlocked for over a year. I still play my 103.

Yeah, it takes damage. Its not a dreadnought that is for sure but if you play it right it does perform well. Of course that can be said for any tank in the game. Today I was playing in it and in one battle I got 1 shotted by a T8 arty. Really made me angry. Playing T9 and T10 battles can be frustrating at times when stuff like that happens.

I didn't finish the grind to the E5. I'm like 2500 xp away. So close. I wanted to finish it but I had to leave for work. Will try and get it done tonight after work.

I can say the same for most american tanks. M103 needs to hull down like its predecessors, the turret cheeks are also extremely vulnerable given the slightest turn so you need to keep it pointed towards the source of fire. The hull is also utterly unreliable at bouncing shots. Also, all the decent back/side turret armor that came with the T-series are gone with the M103.

Pro tip: Don't shoot the copula, the tank is tall and you'll get weird bounces. Shoot the cheeks immediately to the left and right of the gun mantlet and it's a guaranteed pen, and will also damage the ammo rack.

turn off peerblocking software like peerblock, or other vpn software you're using.

Basically says there was an error during the update, press retry to try again.

I deleted and uninstalled it last night and reinstalled it to a different location..Not sure if that would help or not, but tonight I'll try the update again. If it doesn't work I suppose I'll just give up.

Wow stag3 you have a ton of games (if your WoT name is the same as your AT name). 25k. I see you have a lot in the KV-1. I was thinking about picking that one up if it was fun for lower tier games. I'm assuming you like it?

kv-1 i grinded a ton since it was tier 5 and also led to the s-51 arty back when i started so that's why.

it is one of the low tier tanks i kept due to the derp, so fun.

It's a pretty cool game, although I'm really bad and I feel like I' a bit lost. I noticed some of the tanks have these machine guns in it, and all I have is some large cal cannon that fires one shot every 5 seconds. Anytime they see me close range, I'm dead in seconds.

Other than that it's really cool. I like sniper mode a lot...I'm really bad (I think 2 or 3 kills and 15 deaths) but it's a different pace than my usual RPG/FPS games.

yea don't worry about dying a lot or sucking, it takes 2k games or so to start getting the hang of it, however by tier 8 or so you should have a pretty good concept of what to do and not to do, there's a lot of guides out there to learn.

It should take only a few games to unlock modules on the tier 1 tanks. The 20mm guns are the autocannons that rip things apart quickly. Personally, I have been playing a skirmish tournament which is strictly tier 1 tanks. I busted out my trusty MS1 with the 45mm gun. Forgot how fun it was.

Do I have to stay in game to get the perks? Like, as soon as I died, I exited the game, even though it said my tank was still "in battle". I noticed I played like 2 games with every tank, but I didn't really get any new upgrades yet. Not sure because I'm not getting kills, or leaving game before it ends.. or..

You have to buy the components with exp and credits. If you go to the tank tree and click on your selected tank, it'll let you research the module if you have enough exp, after which you can buy it if you have enough credits. Then you can mount the module if you have enough free weight on the tank.

You can leave the game after the tank blows up, you don't get penalized for not staying in after dying.

Also just make sure you're using the normal exp instead of "free" exp. The free exp is the golden ones on the upper right hand corner. Make sure you have enough "white" exp on your tank to research the module you want so you don't end up wasting free ones.

The one I have now is like a box of Crayola Crayons threw up on my screen. LOTS OF COLOR.

I need a more pronounced sight.Preferably with NON dynamic colors. This one has a powder blue haze in the circle reticle that stays there as you are aiming. So a 1.5 inch blue filled circle DOES get smaller as focusing, but move the turret.... ITS BACK and starting from square one. Makes spotting HARD for these old eyes.

I hear Jimbo (Or something like that) is good. Any suggestions... FEEL FREE.
To support this game, I actually may make a micro transaction. Game has a great feel. Good tactics. And so far, I am not getting raged upon. ALWAYS A PLUS. I have had it for 5 days, I still suck, but have gotten HOURS of enjoyment.
Any thoughts on a small buy of Gold or Gold plus a one day Premium?

I did a percentage calculation on prices and there are huge savings if you buy a month premium. Once you buy more the savings are less pronounced.
