Weekend event sucked for me. I only got to play 1 day (Sunday) because I was out of town. 47 percent win rate. 0 for 5 in my E100. Really wanted to train my crews up. Oh well.

Yeah, I agree they way over nerfed it. Good news on the German side. They are removing that annoying transmission fires. They punished the Lowe, and other German tanks, by putting a huge engine hit box on the front. One thing for sure that makes WoT like other MMOs. The whiners often get their way. WG often listens to them. Whine loud enough about a tank and they nerf it eventually. Particularly if its not a Soviet line.

I wish they would remove the Type 59. There fixed. Wasn't used till 57, while most the Tanks In WOT where NEVER used or even built, at least they where a WET dream during WWII. If it was not a Russian Type(Chinese) but american/German/etc it would have been gone long ago, cant have to many tanks better then the Russian ones. The German line was the line when the game started, and arguably incorrect, for awhile in WWII they where the kings, in the end not so much. Right now if you are not in the Russian line, your just second fiddle. I dont understand the thinking in some of the changes. Some tanks are OP, they where just better then other tanks. I do agree with making it fun, hence the 59/hellcat/ etc de-balling. But if they really wanted to do a fix that would effect the game, put some crude XMV balancing in the MM, i can wait 30 more seconds to not have 13% matches. XMV is not even close to foolproof, but if they are allowing it officially into the game, use it, make the matches closer in skill level.

I know there are so many ways around it, new accounts etc.. and Yes again, its not end all, you can win 13% matches and I have. Maybe it would break the game more, but some unofficial logging, when a match is 40% or lower I loose way more then 40% or higher.

I look forward to the German tank fixes. I truly hated the Tiger 2, fires one after another. While it was my first tier 8 and still learning, it was pure torture.

I swear this thing can't side scrape, ignoring extreme angles. Perhaps I was doing it against tier 9 and 10s and super easy for them to penetrate. I've seen videos of it side scrapping but older videos and supposedly before a nerf bat hit the Tiger 2, did one ever hit the Tiger 2 in the last year or so?

I'll give it another go one day, no crew in it now and no desire to move my Tiger crew over into it.

Problem with some of the older tanks is that newer tanks with better armor and guns trounce them. Look at these new lights coming in 9.3. Heavy and medium tank killers they are. Game play shift coming. Rise of the lights that do more than just scout and kill arty.

My Chaffee totally sucks now, glad that I had a ton of fun with it while it was good. The T37 is the new Chaffee now, with my OP Chaffee crew moved to it, hopefully it will be at least as fun.

Somehow the game doesn't work now. Might have to do a complete reinstall. Downloaded the patch. Then when it does the "game integrity check" it gets stuck for a moment at 75 percent. then errors out, saying "failed to find a complete list of updates".

Well, I ended up having to do a complete re-install. By the time I did that, I didn't feel like playing much, so I just did 3 games. Lucky enough to get 3 wins and do well (pushed my WN8 rating into the "very good" category overall).

I will say, I need to play my E100 a lot over the coming few weeks while people are still excited about the new light tanks. E100's gun goes nom nom on the new lights

I have been playing vanilla for a while now. Keeps my sanity.

The introduction of the lesser ribbons is pretty comical. Do your own hitpoints in damage, here is a ribbon. 5 crits, here is a ribbon. Don't be a complete tard or bot... here is a ribbon.

Oh yeah the lesser awards are annoying. It's like they introduced them to reward tomatoes. But at least they put them on the opposite side, so you can see what good ones you got.
