Is there any reason to keep the gift tank? Man that thing sucks. I get a free garage slot when I sell it right?

Been having a horrible time lately. I really hate it when my KV-1 is at the bottom of the mm list, then when I get to the top of the list, 12 of my teammates drive the other direction and i'm blind.

I am really pissed that the 24hr premium showed up on my account when I logged on yesterday without me knowing. I wasn't able to take advantage of it like I wanted to, I only got about an hour in before I had to go out. That really sucks.

Same thing for me. But there is that 1 day code also (see video on their site).

Not really, unless you just like to have rare tanks. It isn't very good.

Need some advice guys, should I go for the M7 or the Chaffee? I have heard good things about both but I am not sure which one to go for.

I say Chaffee, since it leads to the Bulldog, I haven't tried the Bulldog yet though, earning credits to get to it.

I do have the T69, overall, not that impressed, autoloaders can be nice in a pinch but after that pinch, you're reloading for almost 30s or so. You need to have friends with you if there are more than 1 enemy you're shooting at. Also, the aim time on T69 is, (snore) long, it's improved with V-Stab and Gun Laying Drive.

Also, the M7 line, goes from light to medium tanks, so if you're moving crews, you'll lose more due to Light to Medium retrain.

Damn guys, I went with the M7 while I was waiting on your responses. I didn't go with the Chaffee because I heard its not the same one as before. Apparently, its a different Chaffee that isn't as good as the original one. I got to say however, I am having some fun with the M7 and the 6 pounder. Scouting and flanking is a blast. I am even carrying some games with it. I might use free xp to get the Chaffee however, a nice fast tank is something that I love to play.

Also, I was spending ALL DAY deciding whether or not to go with the M4A3E8 or the M4A3E2. I noticed that the E2 can take me to either the heavy or the medium line so I figured I would give that a chance. I may be regretting it now, its awfully slow but heavily armored. I have never played a heavy tank so I feel as if this is moving along those lines and it may not be something that I was interested in or ready for.

Well, it's not the end of the world. T71 and T69 are both solid choices that are fun to play and competitive. I don't know about the M7 and T21 as I free xp'd past them to the T71 when I went down that line (before the M41 was introduced).

only reason to sell it is if you really need the credits or if you need the garage slot. In the future if they drop you the tank again you'll get an equivalent amount of gold instead.

I wish there was a kill cam. Many times I'll get killed and wonder where the enemy was and how he got me. Sure, it tells me the enemie's name, but I want a matrix style controllable kill cam. Since I'm dead already and we don't respawn in the match, make it so that I can watch the kill from his point of view, zoom 360 degrees, check out the surroundings, etc. It gives me something to do instead of just going back to the garage, selecting another tank, and jumping into another battle.

Not possible. You got players which report position of friendly units, cause they are killed and mad about it. Wot just needs kill cam, so you can report enemy position to your troops....

Obviously, you would need to disable communication if you used it or something, but it would really add to the game.

There are replays, and if you go back and watch the match you can often spot the tank that shot you during the match. Not always, though, and it'd be nice to rewind during the match.

So starting to work my Bat Chat again. One of my first Tier X mediums, and that was a mistake. 44% win rate as I didn't know how to play it. Got it up to 46% now... seems hard to get a Mastery in it. Just did a 6.5k damage game with 3.1k spotting damage, only 1st class. Maybe I was close though. But it's certainly a solid tank I wasn't doing justice to before.

After seeing QB today play in it, it makes me want one. Not anytime soon, I got too many grinds going on.

Looking at the wotreplay site, it can give you an idea of what you need.
6k damage, 1.4k spotting, 6 kills - http://wotreplays.com/site/1476397#team
3.9k damage, 6.7k spotting,3 kills - http://wotreplays.com/site/1476344#team
5.7k damage, 1.1k spotting, 5 kills - http://wotreplays.com/site/1476362#team

Seems like you were 98.999%

Saw a tip in the forum to give you an idea of any Ace Tanker requirement. Go to the wotreplays.com, filter everything you need for the tank, sort by Experience. Link below is for tier 10 Bat Chat. Seems like the XP requirement is between 1194 and 1203, click to page 17 to see.

http://wotreplays.com/site/index/version/35/nation/5/type/2/level/10/tank/370/sort/xp.desc/

Mid 1350 seems to be for Ru 251 if you're still hunting for it.

Dont worry Slag, soon ull have armored warfare, hope experience in gaming will be much better

Back to topic: Wot has much deeper issues than kill cam. Kill cam ,without communication is nice fresh idea, i like that. But i think they must fix few things with core of the game. I hardly play randoms this days, i hate RNG, its more agressive than few years back, when i started with wot. Hate grinding for tank 6 months, and when i get it, they nerf it, so its crap. The list go on and on...

ANd the F@CKing small maps. 1000m lol. Give me a break, you can fart on that kinda small map and half of enemy dies from smell

Bigger maps, so lights and mediums can take the roll on battlefield like they should. Battlefield maps are nice example. I would die of happiness if we would get 3 times bigger map then the default size maps. Oh and off course, can they stop with this ruinberg on fire, ruinberg in winter , ruinberg with pizza crap?

I think the tank grind is too time consuming, even with premium. All I play are pickup battles with random people and they are all fairly good games to be honest. I haven't noticed the maps being too small except for a few. Larger maps would probably mean longer games. I like the length as they are personally.

Yeah looks like I was pretty close.

I gave up on my RU for a while. Had an EXTREMELY BAD run of games in it. 3 wins and 17 losses, included finishing with 10 losses in a row. Couldn't get on a winning team :/

They lowered the cost of the Panther 8.8. Experience so far has been pretty underwhelming. It needs preferred MM even at 30 bucks to be worth it. Every game has been Tier 10. Most are full of tier 10. Avg damage because of this 116\battle /sad. And because of that I made more money in a single game with the Panther II than I did in my first 5 games in this premium tank combined lmao.

The tank itself is pretty meh. It is a Panther I with the gun from the Panther II. Slower, less armor, same gun. I would say my Panther II even gets better MM.

Somehow my experience in the 8.8 has been really good. Don't know why. After 27 games, I have a 58% win rate, average 1k experience, and nearly 2k damage/game. Make decent money as well.

That being said, I also recently bought the FCM 50t as well, and that thing is awesome. Highly recommended. The Panther 8.8 is kinda "meh", even though I've been doing well in it.

Well it may not be the tank completely. Yes it isn't my cup of tea. I prefer the Panther II, E50, and E50M. They have mobility and some armor. The Panther imo is under powered. This one is no different. The last two weeks have been brutal. I am sporting a 28% rate in the thing right now. But that has been the norm for all of my tanks sans the E50 for the past two weeks. My teams melt literally in 60 seconds. Fail teams happen, but the law of avg tells me it shouldn't be at this rate and for so long.

Anyways going to play it to 100 games and give a more informed verdict.

really? most people don't like the FCM as it get's penned by everything, do you play it 2nd line or as a sniper? no way you can lead an attack in it haha
