hm 9.6 update

Vehicle Rebalancing
A host of light tanks and tank destroyers have had their parameters changed for this update. With various tweaks to aiming and reload speeds, among others, players will find TDs to be more team-dependent, and light tanks increasing their relevance in battle.

So who's getting nerfed? What's the next "OP" tank?

Walker Bulldog's single shot gun got nerfed. WZ 131 got buffed. Those might be the biggest light tank re balances. Not sure about the rest.

Glad I havn't pulled the trigger on any new TD's other than the ones I own. Nothing like being in a tank that needs to rely on the team more when you get teamed with pubbies that havn't learned the most basic of basics and yet are in tier 10 tanks with 10-12k battles under their belts....

Really satisfying when you get a good platoon going.

Just did 26 games with my platoon mates. 70% win rate. 7 of 8 platoon missions accomplished for TDs/Lights/MT/HT. Also did another 6 individual missions on the night, for a gain of 13 total missions towards the T28.

2nd time in as many play sessions it was down to me in my SPG and some other guy on the other team.

Captain Clever thought he's rush me. Anyone ever notice the giant BOOMSTICK poking out the front of an SPG? lol.

Bought AT15 last week since it was on sale.

Sold AT15 yesterday since it can't bounce very much. Just feels like a meh heavily armored TD.

Last night I decided to buy a new tank, T49. The T54E1 appeared in my garage. I had a brain fart and selected the wrong tank, slow but a nice tank. Free XP'd the tracks and next gun, except 7k worth or regular XP.

T54E1 is an amazingly awesome tank... once you get it fully upgraded. It really needs the top gun to come into its own.

Even with the top engine it is still a pretty sluggish medium, but it helps. But really the top gun makes this tank awesome. My average WN8 in the tank is 3k, and my average XP is over 1k (I only have 5 tanks that average over 1k XP).

I'd recommend going the Walker Bulldog line, as the Walker Bulldog is a great light tank, and the T49 is a fun light tank, and the T37 is great as well. But the T71 is good and T69 is solid too.

Well, my first day of playing 9.6 and I feel the aiming is back to derping into shit 5 meters in front of my tank. Are my barrels bent on all my tanks?

Jesus Christ, this game pisses me off so much. I go on a win streak and raise my win rate from 48.80 to 49.20, all of a sudden 25 games in a row I get stuck with less than 40% chance to win teams and my my win rate takes a dive back into the 48's.

I'd recommend going the Walker Bulldog line, as the Walker Bulldog is a great light tank, and the T49 is a fun light tank, and the T37 is great as well. But the T71 is good and T69 is solid too.

It got nerfed. Just means you have to use the auto-loaded instead of the single shot gun. The single shot gun was incredibly OP. It's still good though with the auto-loader. Plus the T37 is still great (and a great stronghold tank if you're in a clan) and the T49 is fun.

oh, that's cool then. I've been wanting to play with autoloaders.

Nah, its still a better choice over the autoloader, why would i take an autoloader that needs 36 seconds to reload? In that time that I am reloading I can pop off 7 shots with the non autoloader.

I did really well with M7/M37. 60-61.5 WR. Moved to the M41, and completely stuck at 47%. There's no way I was going to grind the garbage, so I got rid of all my SPG's and going to concentrate on MT. I need to upgrade to an Easy 8 from my M4. I've been outperforming teammates that run the Easy 8 by a long shot, so it's a cinch that I'll be much better in it than my regular M4.

I've bagged 2-3 matches as Artillery when I was the last player. But, that's like .68% of all my matches as artillery, heh. Smart players never get in front of an arty when it's within VFR.

I'm more of a fast/agile MT player, so the Jumbo isn't my thing.
