so i'm leveling up pretty slowly but still having fun
im close to getting the m7 priest, does it have a long range gun like the m37?

i've all but given up on the german line, the grind is horrible, stuck on the ausf A, hate it, don't feel like playing it anymore hahaha

just got all unlocks except the KV for my t28, i think i like the 57mm more than the big gun, feels more accurate, and better penetration, i was able to take out a kv with the 57 LOL, i bet that guy was pissed

i just unlocked the su-85b but it will be a bit until i can afford to buy it, i came upon someone playing an su-152, holy crap it is a beast, it destroyed our team. i got to the su-85 during beta, can't wait to get that back heh

M7 Priest's first gun... I can spit further than that. Second gun... pretty much the whole map.

AusfA is terrible... Pz III is alright, the III/IV is excellent with the upgrades (strongly recommended... I was having hell with it until I decided to throw in all of the upgrades) and the VK3001P is absolutely DIRE.

I had an alright time in the German Med line, but I went the route of the VK3601H which is where I have stalled now. Mainly because I just got the American T29 over the weekend...while I can take some hits, I can't do crap to T8+ at stock. My first match with it yesterday I was the bottom person. Mostly IS-4's and T32's. Still have yet to see my first tier 10 though...everyone says they are out there.

The stock M7 gun is short range, but it is accurate and fires quickly. The long range gun is nice, but you'll need a higher skilled crew to use it well, just like with the M37. If your crew skill is under 80%, I'd suggest continuing with the short range gun until they improve a bit.

Well, right now I have the T34 in the Russian Medium line. I'll keep working towards the T54 tank. On the German Heavy side of things I have the PzIV and working towards the VK3601. Later on the Tiger and King Tiger. I dont see myself going beyond the KT though. I'm also set to buy the PzIII/IV tank that will allow me to go to the higher end German mediums like the Panther and Panther II. I havent bought the PzIII/IV yet because I been busy leveling all the other tanks. I'll get to it eventually though. On the American line I'm at the M3 Lee tank currently. From it I'll go to the T1 and the American heavies and work my way over to the Easy 8 Sherman. I'll also continue down the American Medium line to the Pershing.

I cant wait to get past the M3 Lee. I dislike its lack of mobile turret and so-so armor. Its gun is decent for its level but it gets one shotted by hetzers, and most anything larger, which I find really annoying. I remember when in beta they introduced the Lee tank. I was playing in the KV3 at the time and now I see why they were so easy to kill. Kinda makes you wonder what the designer was thinking when he made the tank and what the U.S. Army was thinking when they bought them.

Anyhoo... thats where I'm at currently in game.

I am also working towards a T54, i hope it is as overpowered as they say. Nearly at T34.

I tried to go the Russian Medium route during beta but just couldn't power through the A20. Didn't help that I was having a pretty fun time with the IS at the time.

This time, I'm using some gold to just convert the xp over from my T-46 and T-28.

T-34 is great fun. Finally got rid of the horrendous piece of trash a-20 during the weekend and now I'm rolling around in a t-34, KV and su-85.

Is the su-85 suppose to be this painful to play until you get the 107? I feel like I miss so many shots with the 76 and 85mm it's not even funny. Not to mention it can't penetrate most of the stuff its tiered up with unless you get lucky shots from the side... which doesn't happen too often. Heck, I bounce off P4s...

Could someone on the US Server search for the player name 'Exakter' and report back with when he last played? I used to platoon up with him regularly and if he's playing, I'd like to twist his arm to join me on the EU Server... server transfers won't come in for a while.

Doing well in my T20... 90k to grind there for the T23.

VK 3001 (P) is the worst tank ever but with free exp, I'm about 3/4's of the way to my VK 3002 (DB).

On the SU-85B on USSR TD's. Not doing great but slowly playing them to get somewhere.

I got my Tiger I last night. First game out I bounced 4 shots off a PIV...all I could do is laugh.

Finally made it to T-34 last night. Had a blast with the 57mm, but the RoF on the last 76mm doesn't seem to work so well for my style of play. 57mm has a little bit more penetration, faster aim, and more DPS.

the 76mm is not very good on the t-34. The 57mm is where its at... with a rammer it shoots like a machinegun.

Finally got to the T1 tonight. Man, that M3 Lee tank sucks horribly. I still need to grind more on it to open up the M4 and American Medium line. Not going to enjoy that grind. The T1 is better than I thought it would be. Slow as heck but takes a fair amount of damage and does a fair amount too. KVs are difficult to deal with though. Got the tracks, turret, and working on getting to the better 76mm gun. I'll do the engines last. Probably skip the radio.

I'm still grinding the T34 and PzIV but I'm enjoying them. The last time I had the PzIV I hated it mainly because it was before the tier rebalance. Now this time its not so bad. Fighting against larger tanks but not as bad as the last time so I'm enjoying it more. I still havent bought the PzIII/IV yet that gets me to the Panthers but I'm in no hurry. Too many tanks to play with as is. I'll get to it some day.

M3Lee grind was bad at first but was actually fun after awhile. I never fathomed getting 4-6 kills in games with this tank. T1 is bipolar. It reigns supreme if it's the top heavy tank, but can't do crap if it's mid or lower ranked in a battle.

The A20.............Well let's just say the T54 must be just rewards for having to suffer this tank. I don't know if I can do it. 50-70 XP per battle. I think I've killed a total of 4 tanks with this POS and I have the upgraded gun. I'm sure it doesn't help that the majority of matches I'm forced to be a scout, which it sucks at doing. I'm trying to hone my skills at running up behind IS3's, T29's and dying behind them so they can't retreat from my teammates or arty. I may have to get past this tank with just my free XP.

I'm still in love with my Stug. I've learned to be more succesful with this tank by shoot and scoot...........something I knew about but didn't have the confidence in beta to do with TD's as they weren't quick enough. I can't wait to get binoculars for this tank.

I just got to the M7, and after a while of getting used to it and getting it upgraded.. I'm loving it

Its got thin armour, but its quite nimble and fast. And the best part, the 6 pounder gun. 30 rounds per minute it can deliver quite alot of shells on the target and with avg 105mm penetration it can go thru some heavies too

To be honest I don't see any reason to put the 75mm guns on the M7. They do a little more damage, but penetrate less and fire almost half slower.

Just need to get positioned so the enemy tanks are not shooting at me, and I can lay alot of shells on the target tank. :sneaky: Getting hit by a shell every 2 seconds will make the target panic most likely if he isn't experienced, even if it does only avg 75 damage

I found the second 75mm to be much better than the 6pndr. The high damage and reasonable rate of fire tends to decimate the lower/equal tiered tanks and I never missed the small penetration difference.

My average exp per match increased after using the bigger 75mm.

I didn't like the A20 during beta and I didn't like it this time around. Quite frankly I'd rather use a Leopard or a PzIII for a scout over the A20. The A20 is certainly fast but its fragile and its gun sucks for any kind of damage. And you need a decent gun to kill arty. You just cant ram them all the time and expect that alone to do the job. For scouting I've always been able to do a better job with a Leo or the PzIII. Just my two coppers on the subject.

If you ram anything above the tier 1 arties.... well, minus the american t1 arty (t57? forgot name...) , the a-20 will explode into flames and the arty will have a free kill. The 76mm is terribly inaccurate and it takes forever to load as well. Fight leopards or P3s? Forget it. Your paper armor will be torn to shreds before you land a 2nd shot (which will just bounce anyway). Try to dance around anything? Not with the maneuverability of a truck. The slow acceleration is also obscene, and the view range leaves much to be desired. You basically NEED binocs to be a scout.

It's an overall fail tank. At least the BT-7 has a nice acceleration.

I'm in my JagdP IV and love it. 100% crew, driver is 54% camo while the rest of the crew is 54% repair. I didn't realize it, but 5 or 6 parts from the stug3's research list are available on the JP4. When I hit JP4, I only had the tracks and the 8.8 to research to max it out

Trudging along with my AT-1. Researched the SU-76 but dont have the money to buy it hehe. Maybe I should put 15 bucks down for a premium account

For the first three tiers premium is not really needed because you can advance along at a decent rate. By the time you get into 4th tier tanks however you'll be wanting premium because things take longer to get. Certainly it will by the 5th tier. Then again if you like real challenges and painfully slow advancement then going without premium is the way to go.

Looked and I didn't find anyone by that name.

Thanks. It's odd that he's not around or that his account doesn't exist.

Currently grinding out the 100k for my t23.

As a side tank, grinding 17k for the DB engine then working on the Panther... might do the radios too and Elite the DB.

Finally got the Tiger I, it's my first heavy tank and I'm just a few thousand XPs away from the long 88. It's not as capable as other heavies developed later, but it's quite rewarding when played right.
