I miss my beta crews

Anyway - just had one of my better all around games today. Not the most kills but a 97% accuracy rating after 31 shots isn't too shabby and I hit almost every one of their team's tanks. Two hits for no damage. First round of the night too! (One of these days I will get some gold and buy premium...) Sharpshooter, Master Gunner, Sniper, Confederate

I can't tell what tank that is you're playing. Those look like T-34 or VK numbers, since those are the few tanks I own that I usually get 30+ shots off in a game.

I wish I could justify to myself spending $30 on a Lowe, but it just seems wrong in every way. I would love to have a tank that could pull 50k+ a round, but I guess I'll just have to deal the 15-30K I make on my tiger/KV-3.

I got the xp yesterday to unlock my tiger 2 (elited my tiger tank), unfortunately I'm still missing around 150K credits to purchase it. I guess I would have the credits if I would actually sell some of my tier 5/6 tanks and didn't spend the money for all the add-ons. The worst part is, after I buy the tank, I'll still need an extra 100K for crew training and probably another 10K for initial ammo. I also don't look forward to the initial grind on a stock tank with craptastic 75% crew. I just hope in the end that the tiger2 can make more credits than the tiger and I might actually see a few shots bounce.

Being impressed with the tank and being impressed by its credit making abilities are two completely separate things.

What's the best SPG line? I really enjoy the SPG style of play over other tanks, but I'm wondering if I should stick to one line. I'm considering going German until I get Hummel to farm with, but been having a raving time with my T57.

You generally won't make more than the Tiger. At least I haven't yet as the ammo costs go up as well as the repair costs. As for bouncing shots more, yes and no. When stock, you are only going to bounce off your hull because the stock turret literally "catches" the shots and helps them pen. Many people know that and go for the turret if they see its stock. The upgraded turret is much better and does allow for more bounces. I don't have the final gun on my KT yet, but with the others stuff, its pretty solid and definitely the best Tier 8.

it is rather expensive, but they do get a ton of credits, good farming tank.

i haven't gotten premium yet and it's been a slow grind
i have a KV, KV-3, SU-85, SU-100, IS, SU-152, VK3001P

I really like this game. I am happy to support the Dev's. I also get a credit farming machine in the process which enhances my play experience on all of my other tanks.

Sure it was a splurge. What I see is that it is an investment, and likely we will see better content from the devs.

I'm considering getting one just for the credits it makes. I just got my IS-3 last night after more than a few evenings of playing solely to earn credits. And I still need $200,000 to purchase upgrades for it that I've already researched. Plus I have the T20 and KV-1S fully researched, but no credits to buy them or any module upgrades for my other tanks. A Lowe would help me out a lot here.

So no, it's not just "freaking fools" buying them. They do have a purpose.

Exactly. Thats what I been trying to convey to people. Yes, its a good solid tank but where its real talent is in making creds and xp. And you don't have to survive long in a battle to do it. Glad you got one Elcs. I'm really curious about your impressions with it so play it for a week or so and then make a blog about it.

Where the Lowe can be hard to kill is if it gets itself into a hull down position where only its turret is sticking up. Then it can be a pain to take out if you can't flank it. That turret bounces and ricochet shots like mad at times. Strong bull head but weaker body. You'll find in most battles people will just gang up on you basically with tanks and artillery. Best and fastest way to kill them.

The tank has it's purpose and you know what, I spend more than $30.00 a week this time of year on golf. In the grand scheme of things, that's a pittance

Launcher auto-searches for and auto-installs new patches upon detection.

Vent and rammer are the most useful, the last is dependant on your play style.

I just started yesterday. My MS-1 is by far the deadliest I have. I did purchase the BT2.

Best game I had was 3 kills and alive at the end with 3!? HP (I have ended with 1 HP). That as with the Leichtetraktor as I ambushed a T2, and finished off 2 starter tanks.

I do have a question though, is there any way to use research points towards something else? I keep accumulating research for my starter tanks and have nothing left to do with it.
