Bounced a shot with my jagged panther off them. Quite funny to perfectly lead them and then know the shot bounced.The new T5 lights are really annoying so far... Seem to be really good at their jobs. Also has the (hopefully unintended) consequence of making arty worse than it already is. With the poll they had recently tho hopefully some thing is coming to help rein in arty.
I should point out that I'm basing it against the T-44 of beta days. I haven't played in a T-44 since Beta ended. Since then the Devs have tweaked the tier balance system two or three times. I wish I had a T-54 to test it against but I only have a T34/58 in that line right now. People are saying its like a T-54 but not quite as good. I hear comments like it can't take a hit as well as a T-54. I also hear its deadly fun in a wolf pack group. Which makes sense considering how fast and agile it is. I haven't tried that yet.
Edit: Just some stats to throw out from one fight. Just had a good battle. I damaged 7 tanks and had zero kills but team won with me at about 15%-20% life left on The Mines map. I figured the haul wouldn't be much but surprisingly I got 1,471 xp and 95,913 credits. I guess performance wise this thing is in between a T-44 and a T-54 but where it really shines is in credit making like the KV-5 and Lowe. I had 1 AP shell left so I fired 19 times. One or possibly two misses. I know I missed once for sure. Repair cost was 14,234 creds. The 100mm is like the others. Not a killing gun per se but does do decent damage unless up against the really big guns.
Edit2: Hummel just dropped a shell on top of me head while on the move at full speed. 100% to 0% in a blink of an eye. Ouch! it was a nice shot on his part though.
i'm wondering about the t59 now, matchmaker has the t44 above the t59 but there is just no way unless you're lucky to beat a t59 1 on 1, maybe if you have the derp gun but i would think it would be even harder with the derp due to reload.
Type 59 is funny. It is basically as good as the T-54 but without the effort.

I wrecked 2 59's with my T54, both were at 100% I ended up ~35%. They were discent players too, just bounced too many shots and missed me a few times. I didn't miss a single shot and nailed a soft spot on all but 1 shot.
I'm willing to bet that I was the only with stabilizer, vents and rammer. Also run with lend/lease.
which is why you can lol if the matchmaker has your KV pitted against a T1 heavy.
The tank listed directly across from your tank in the opposing player list is NOT "matched up against you" in any way.
Finally got enough clan wars gold to buy a Lowe and. . .
Wow, this thing is like a broken ATM machine that spits cash at you. You make a heap of money even with a loss. I think I make between 60 and 80k credits every time I play. I was able to buy my E75, upgrade it and put 3 modules on the Lowe in a few hours.

yea everytime the other team has 3 E100's and you have a couple is-7 and a T30, it's kinda fucked up. i hate how the matchmaker puts all the meds on 1 side all the time and you get wolf packed up the ass. it's like spread out the t54s evenly, it's not that hard.
Well, still. People mistakenly draw a correlation between which tanks are at the same height in the opposing team's tank list. It doesn't mean anything and I see so many players talking about the perceived relationship.
