Blah. The special has made even T7-8 unbearable. People taking their T6 arty out to play in masses, resulting in 4 T6 arty games. I thought I got away from that crap when I sold my M48.

Well I thank you for taking those games with all the arty. I only saw a bunch of arty in the my tier 10 games. I had quite a few lower tier games with no arty. I also had a mostly pure tier 8 game (ruined by two tier 7s on the opposing side) this weekend, amazingly it was a pure stomp with not a single loss on my team.

I burnt about 80k free xp and jump started up a few new lines to tier 5 over the weekend. I'm now headed up the american medium line, turretted TD line, T57 line, and the britsh TD line. I'm still stuck in tier 5s for all of them, which kinda blows, but I'm decently far in with the help of the x5s this weekend.

I got a bit frustrated in the games over the weekend Lurker. It just seems like we were not meshing like we normally are. Several times we died alone which just made the person who lived that much more vulnerable.

Ah well. Shit happens.

On another note, I bought the 183 over the weekend. It is basically a turreted 268 that can NEVER get a 0% crit or a bounce. And every once in a while, you hit pay dirt and annihilate a target.

the mid tier arty was out in force during the weekend so you really aren't missing out on much. The usual arty-free tier 5-7 was filled with m37s and hummels and a bunch of gold singling su-26s. Complete molewacking shitfest.

Just bought the black prince... and the first game, hulled down, bounced 2000~ damage worth of shells from a T29, m6 and a BDR while I just annihilated them with a t29 on my team.

Need to play a few more games later...

So I finally managed to get Ace Tanker for my VK 3601 (H) - I love this tank.

During that match, it was on that Desert map in Encounter mode, I was on the ridge in the middle, happily shooting away at a few tanks down at the base. I'd been decimating them for quite a while, when a Churchill from my own team comes a-rollin', stops RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME and keeps me from shooting at those juicy red tanks. I might have made Top Gun, too, if it wasn't for this git. Real facepalm moment there.

Then I lose 5 games in a row with the same tank. Stupid, stupid teams. Sometimes I hate this game.

I really wish they'd get rid of arty or cap it in this game. It was such a stupid mistake to add it. I really hate playing when I see that many arty on each team. Makes me rage! :'(

So, I did end up picking up the 1 year of premium and decided to throw caution to the wind and get the T26E4 instead of a premium heavy. It's half the price of all of the other premium tanks. I figure I'll learn how to use it as I go, and so far I'm not doing god-awful with it. It's slower than CRAP, but I'm learning how to adapt to that. I was so tired of getting murdered by them in my Russian heavies I just had to get in on the fun.

I got a little extra back on my tax refund than I expected, so I thought I'd go ahead and not have to worry about premium for awhile. It will also inspire me to keep trying to get better instead of walking away so much.

I played about 30 battles yesterday, and even with all of the quirked up matchmaking because of the special, I still had a lot of fun again. I was able to finish up and elite the PzIV, so I free XPd the PzIII and moved my crew over to the III/IV so I can move down the medium line too instead of just towards Tigers.

I have a free slot open, so I may start playing around with the German lights, too. I need to get versatile and learn some tactics, so that's a good place to do it. Plus, I hear a couple of those new lights are stupid fun once they are maxed.

I am a firm believer in unlocking guns on earlier tanks before progressing. It *must* be easier grinding to the next line using the better gun earlier than moving up a tier and using a crappier gun.

Yeah, it can be a good tank. Its not as great as it used to mainly because newer tanks can brawl better now. However, if you load gold shells like I have been doing its a nasty tank to face with the 88. Using gold with it though is very very expensive. I dont suggest trying it unless you can farm a lot of creds. I got the grinding done now. Now I'll just park it except for the daily 2xp for the crew and wait for the new Germans.

Bought the black prince the other day and... man oh man is it worth the grind through the other 2 crap churchills.

The gun is... mediocre to be fair. But it has a 4 second reload and is very accurate, even up to around 400m. The damage sucks for sure, but your armor is thick enough to stay out in the open and brawl.

When people see your tank.... they look for another tank to shoot. It's such a bully in lower tiers it almost feels unfair. Even T-34s turn to using HE rounds when I hull down, its a pretty good feeling. In one game on ruinsberg I was shooting 3-4 tanks unopposed because nobody wants to shoot my tank. My whole entire team managed to wipe out but not before I dealt over 3.5k damage at 150 damage a shot, about 40 rounds fired.

I like this thing as much as the T-29 so far. It's pretty much fully upgraded sans the best radio, but that'll come very easily.

Also: public test is over. Russia is getting their 8.5 this thursday from the rumor mill, so we'll probably get it next tuesday.

And WG wonder why nobody plays tier 10s.

Yeah, I just got my first T9, a T30, and the arty fests are making me want to rage. Of course the arty killing tanks are mostly just terrible players, which makes it even worse lol. I've enjoyed playing my arty, and am about 70k from a T92, but the arty fests are really just stupid.

T8 or lower for me. Even if a game has more than 3 arties(rare) they arent insta nukes like T6+ arty. Also most tanks in T8 or lower can move around a bit better to avoid the smaller hitting arty. T10 game is just broken and has been for months. I want the leopard but cant bring myself to get excited to grind my way to it to get stuck in shitfest that is the T10 game.

On my tier 8 arty, we had a team with around 8 arty and one t110e5.
