So, is the consensus that world of planes is just bad and not worth playing? I sure didn't like it the couple times I played and no one seems to talk about it.

That should improve. The T62A is a solid tank.

It does take a bit of adjustment from the T-54 though. It doesn't have the same all round brawling ability since it actually has a weaker hull than the T-54. Find a hull down position though, and it really shines.

I do agree, the turret on that T-62A is awesome. On South Coast map, I was in the middle up against a wall near the amphitheater and the people just bounced 8 or 9 shots in a row, not 1 pen. Then an E-100 and IS-7 came up after me.

I think I don't do as well on weekdays as I do weekends, I should spend some time collecting data from past sessions.

Speaking of IS-7, tried to side scrape against an E-100 on Ensk in the city, he put in a nice shot and ammo racked me, full health gone. Ouch. LOL

Anyone know anything about the Grosstraktor or T-34-85M? I picked up the BT-SV because I like rare tanks (and needed the gold anyway). However, while I like rare tanks, I like them to be at least a little bit of fun and I'm not sure about those two.

Another frustrating night. 3k WN8... 35% win rate. Even going to my trusty box tank wasn't working. I have 65% win rate in it over 250 games. It's my highest winning vehicle. 4x games doing over 2k damage (which is a good amount in it) before finally winning one of them.

Also I've lost 10 games in a row in my RU-251 (and about 3-17 in the last 20 games) so I'm down to about 48% win rate in it. Just did a game in it where I did 4k damage and 6 kills... still lost. What is super frustrating too is that I lost because an arty hit me, while I was moving sideways across the front of it, down a slope, at about 100 meters, moving at about 60 kph. If I had killed the arty I would have gone on to kill the other 4 vehicles and gotten my Kolobanovs (SP?) because all that was left was 4 heavies with no view range. But of course arty has to hit the insane shot.

I will say that the BTSV is the easiest vehicle in the game (that I've owned) to get an Ace Mastery with though. 3rd game got mine, with only 630 base XP

Got the tally for this weekend. So painful I didnt play much. 19 games, 26.32% win rate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would offer to platoon up with me but then you would take all my damage/kills and lower my WN8 and win rates.

Seriously, that does suck, all that work for nothing. Feels like my JgTig 8.8cm, when I do well, still lose. Do bad, lose. I think my Comet is even worse.

Heh, just killed on of those WoT winners for 250 gold. He was in FV215b 183, one shot kill when I finally got to him, all while in my T-62A. Which I'm still sucking, lulz.

Nice! I've done that a total of one time. JP E100 was what I killed.

I did forget to add, me and 2 other teamates had to go through a T110E3. Seeing QB today shoot a certain weak spot at hatch, just left of gun was made of use to me. Then your, datalink, tip at lower corner spots for 2 more hits. 1 side shot, plus some fire from my friendly on him, got him dug out. At the distance I was shooting, I was surprised I hit those 3 tiny spots. Map was on Swamp, 100-150 meter shots?

Nice. The E3 is a tough nut to crack. It does have those weak spots, but they can be difficult to hit so good job getting through it.

Have you downloaded Tank Inspector yet? I'd highly recommend it. It allows you to examine every vehicle and see what kind of angles require what amount of penetration.

Yes, I have Tank Inspector. A short while back, I always had it running while playing. So if I couldn't figure out how to pen a certain tank, hide, alt-tab to bring it up, search for tank name, look quickly, "Oh yeah!"

I did look at T110E3 before, just flat out missed the upper part weak spot and didn't see the lower corner spots, was only looking at center lower glacis area.

Then other time, it helped me say, look at the coupla on JgPz E100. So now I don't need to load premium rounds as much when shooting at one.

I still struggle trying to remember some high tier British turret area weak spots though, mediums and heavies. But I'll get there and get it all figured out.

Reading WOTLabs forums one day helped me figure out to pen a hull down IS-7. A tiny sliver of a spot on top of turret, coupla area. A few days back, dug one out without any issues in my E-100, being 20 meters away helped too.

Only thing I wish Tank Inspector has is locations of ammo racks. Would be nice to shoot them to damage them and get the targets reload to double.

Looking at the 907 though, it looks like garbage . Would still be cool to have, but it doesn't look like it has much going for it. Nice turret traverse speed I guess?

Oh I guess it's way off in Tank Inspector. Showing 219 pen right now. And the turret has a massive weakspot. Hopefully that gets buffed too.

I think I ended up somewhere around 2100. I already have the M60 and VK 72.01, so I'll be getting the 907 by default. Looks pretty decent after that last buff. I don't have any T10 Russian mediums yet, so I'll finally get to experience that uber shell bouncing turret they seem to have.
