Yeah I play it more like a Medium. It can't be played as a heavy. But it has 8 degrees of gun depression, is pretty quick and mobile, and has a fast firing gun. It's freaking huge, but otherwise it's more medium than heavy.

I've got 15 games in it. Tonight I had a string of bad games went 1-5. Over the 15 games though I'm averaging about 2k damage/game. I suppose a final verdict will have to come after I've played more in it but so far I like it.

Turret is the weak point on the bt-sv right? I haven't had much trouble with it. Guy was complaining yesterday saying I was using gold when I took him out in my T18

its speed keeps it alive, not to hard to pen right under turret, but if its not coming at ya thats bit hard to hit. Good tank, not great, but add a good (or great) tanker, its OP. As an average player its a bit like most good TD's i can do 1.8 (kill/match) with it so far.. makes me better then average so its good. I seem to get tracked alot.

RAM- mixed on this one, supposed to be preferred MM, but i see way to many tanks I cant pen with it, so its a gold ammo machine. And then, you cant even remotely brawl with it as most videos show (almost all i see its top tank or almost top), to low DPS to most anything you fight. It does have better Armour then most tanks, but WOT is just to full of players. I am never in the top 1/3rd, 90% of my match's im below the middle of the pack, so Im bouncing gold, as I said you cant brawl so you gotta keep some cover and range, gun is not real accurate, and has no speed. If it was top 3rd all the time it would be pretty good, but its not (at least for me), have yet to get to a 1.0 ratio (.8 right now) and i have a 1.4 in the LEE, which i play every day still. Maybe I just don't play the way it needs to be played. I would sink a few more bucks in and get the e-25, OP as hell, and its going soon.

still debating if i want an object 263 or not, i'd have to convert a shit ton of gold to xp to do it. reason i never bothered with the su101? is the additional loader once you hit the su122-54

also debating if i want to buy the su122-44, as it's tier 7, usually everyone plays 8s if anything...

SU-122-44 is an awesome vehicle. Since it is premium camo is still OP. One of the most consistent performing missions for me. Played it 10 times in a row last night to help do the Russian mission. Averaged about 2k damage and 2-3 kills a game, though I did have good platoon mates that allowed me to set up in good positions and go to town. The DPM on the thing is great.

Because we enjoy the game and have the disposable income available to get these tanks that:

1) Are somewhat more rare and so something different to play
2) Earn in game money faster so we can get more stuff for our tanks or new tanks
3) Better at training crews which ultimately are one of the best ways to improve your chances

For me:

Reason 1, to have a tank that would get more credits, but still be fun to play.

Reason 2, more of them to have some variety while still getting more credits.

Reason 3, the e-25 is the most fun tank to play.

Common reason for people but more a 'nice to have' for my playing, crew training.

50t is the best premium tank for making credits, and its also pretty damn beast for carrying too.

Special MM, very mobile, great gun with good AP rounds (no need to spam APCR credit seppuku), great gun handling, good gun depression.

You play it like a hedium, a heavy med. Abuse people by taking shots then get cover. Flank heavier tanks, spank & ram/jam lighter tanks.

203mm Russian artillery = lulz. This particular one S-51, up to 2300 damage if it penetrates for HE. It can penetrate an American heavy T32 (IIRC). 1550 HP gone in 1 shot.

Takes 48 seconds to reload, with a Rammer, it's worth it.

Since you're the 500th post to say this, a repeated response, any issue with that is negated by the fact that the other team has the same frickin' issue. It's a non-issue.

My buddy convinced me to go t34-3 which is a tier 8 premium medium,got us both one and i made over 800k silver today. Combined with 30 days premium i think i did good as i am not all that great.I need 2.1 million for the IS-3 and already a third of the way there 1 day into my premium.

Its my first tier 8 tank,my second best is my IS but without premium nor a premium tank i lost more then earned in it and was having to run a t-25 tier 5 premium to keep my account filled with silver lol to run that.Buddy bought me the t-25 which was my first premium period.

I see why people love e-25,i thought about it but i never ran td outside of t18,have a thing for Russian heavy,the t34-3 has a nearly identical gun to the IS/KV-85 which made it a comfortable fit. Fast,fun and all around enjoyable.

some people get clan war gold to spend, but most people here just buy gold or the tank packages when they go on sale. I've spend maybe $300 on this game on me and my friend's accounts and I still have about 5k gold leftover to demount and convert exp.

The event's kind of half and half for me. I haven't been playiing much so I have no idea where to go on the new maps, and half of the old maps got remodeled so all the ditches and slopes are different and there's new avenues of attack. Just grinding up the british line, and contemplating whether I should get a centurion or a KV4. I have a good russian heavy crew that I need to put to use but I heard the centurion 7/1 is nice.

it happens to me even when xvm shows a 60%+ win chance, and most of my dudes are green +....it boggles my mind

i can understand when i'm the only green player on my team...which is often -_-

Is this game friendly with Amd cards?Researching a new card to get and torn between a 290x/970.My 770 is enough at least for this game but i'm not sure if nvidia offers a better fps experience over Amd with this title?

I have an ATI R9 280 3GB and no issues. Before that was NVIDIA GTX 460 768MB and also, no issues.

I run the Maximum standard settings with x16q AA settings,i end up severely cpu bottlenecked from 768p all the way to 1080p but i wasn't certain if there will be a frame lost assuming the 290x has less cpu overhead?

I found one youtube video of a 290x vs 970 in WOT and trust me its nearly one of a kind and it suggested a considerable lost but i don't want to run with this unless someone chimed in.Not much love for benching of f2p games.:|

i get 60fps with vsync enable at 1200p, everything maxed out. Otherwise it's between 50-120fps. core i7 4770k, gtx 770, ssd and 16 gbs of ram 1866mhz.

Exp is a mystery. My arty just did 4700 damage, and a T30 did 2200 and got more exp.

He had zero 'damage with your assistance', I had 346. I had 2 kills, he had 3.

arty gets 50% xp of each hit you do to a target (unless you're the last one alive going TD mode)
was it a tier X match?
the T30 was probably hitting tier X's and spotting his own targets

Ya, was, I forgot about the xp share for arty, but thought maybe it was just a bonus for the spotter, not a reduction for arty. Doesn't seem very fair for arty.
