Forget which one MT14 is. Kill 1 higher tier heavy? That was pretty annoying also (have to kill 2 for T55A). I waited around hidden behind some buildings until my heavies engaged theirs and got them down low enough. Then I came from the side and killed them. Actually ended up killing 3 higher tier heavies in that match.

Kill two heavies 1 tier higher. Had a ton of matches where I'm either top tier, or there is only 1 heavy higher than me. There has only been 3 matches where it was even possible, and all three I wasn't able to do it. Once I teamed up with a teammate to do it. I had already killed 1 heavy. He was just going to put 1 shot into it to make it a one shot for me. Set it on fire for the second time, and the thing burned before my reload :/

Loved playing artillery back in the day. Tried it as my first line just now and it's not so good. Site times sooo long the other guy literally needs to have decided to go for a piss break or you get no shot. And so many of the maps in rotation are a waste if you're in arty.

Played a bit this past week. Only had one memorable game. Was in a bat on El Haluf. Went down to the water early, helped clear it with a platooned 907. Got racked twice during this, so I had a 70+ second reload. Had to retreat because the thunderdome was lost. I reloaded and finished off 2 tanks, stalling their attack. I had to bug out to kill a lorraine who had a cross shot on me. In doing so I was down to ~100 HP. I went across the map to put cap pressure on/kill their arty. Arty was nowhere to be found, killed a defending TD, and then we lost 2 of our defenders and an enemy IS7 rolled onto cap.

At this point, it was me and an arty against a half health IS7 and arty... and little time. I reloaded during my trek back, and while the IS7 was busy staring at the spot arty was at, I shot him in the butt three times to kill him (2 left in my clip). Time was below 2 minutes. Again, I went back across the map, not reloading for fear of a quick engagement. Find arty with less than 10 seconds left, his shotgun missed, and I got him with less than 5 seconds left (was going to ram if I bounced a shot).

Ended up with ~4500 damage with a damaged rack almost the entire game. The platooned 907 died ~7 minutes into the game but also had 4k damage.

Basically, I sit idle in tanks if I am not playing WoWS and wait for a platoon invite. Even then, I am only going to play a few games before being bored.

My son has started playing the game (he's 7) and just got the wolverine. He has watched me play a lot and is decent at the game, however, like his dad, he likes to charge and hates sitting and waiting.

i have 4 female crew members waiting to be claimed but don't know where to put them so i haven't claimed those missions yet. i should tho so i can start the next set of personal missions.... was thinking about putting them into the 215b line, or amx30b line

Yea for some of the attempts. Even when you get higher tiers though, there would be like 1 top tier heavy lol.

i have 4 female crew members waiting to be claimed but don't know where to put them so i haven't claimed those missions yet. i should tho so i can start the next set of personal missions.... was thinking about putting them into the 215b line, or amx30b line

Mediums in general are better to use them for as they can benefit more from the extra perks (camo + repairs + bia + gun handling + view range). Heavies you basically just need repairs and you're good.

Yeah my first set went in the STA-1 (now on the Type 61, on the way to STB-1). My next set is going in the Leo 1 (so I can also use in T55a). unsure about where I want the next set. Was thinking T110E5 maybe, but perhaps I'll go WZ 111 1-4 since it is one of my favorite tanks. Already on a 3 skill crew in it though. Other option I was thinking was OBJ140, which I am working towards, though my original intention was to throw OBJ430 crew in there once I got it (almost to 4th crew skill in that crew).

I know lots of hate will come my way but the only arty i have is all five tier 10's. Don't play them much except for CW and now these personal missions. Don't know about the lower tiers but with 9.6 it seems RNG is making more shots go long or short than before. As in three shots short in a row or two shots long in a row. Then when you do hit the damage seems higher than before. Maybe it's just me or has anybody else seen this?

Imagine my surprise - 704 starts going downhill from the middle, in the open - "Russian cloaking engaged!" - he literally disappears in front of my eyes.

Wow...two straight 1:14 matches in a row. This game senses when I enter a match with my TD and puts in Mrs. Smith's 3rd grade World of Tanks class. I did 750+ damage in one of those fantastic loses, which was more than the rest of my team combined.

I feel your pain, I am consistently in the top 3 for exp/damage/spotting in every one of my games. Not sure what these good players mean by "carrying" it becomes impossible to carry a game when 70% of your team dies within the first minute. After that all it takes is for the enemy to swarm you and your dead.

I find the good players "carry" a team when their team dies off slowly and they finish beat up players. You are right, even good players cant carry a team when half of their team is dead in the first minute.

Losing a match isn't so bad. So what?? End the game, start up another tank, and do it again. I can't stand matches that last the entire time. I want to get in, destroy some tanks, maybe get killed, and do it again.
It's a GAME. You don't get to pick your team unless you queue up with a ton of friends. Just enjoy it for what it is.

It wasn't pain, just amazement. 1:14's are really rare; to see two back-to-back is very strange.

I haven't carried any games, not solo. I've duoed quite a few though...usually in my Chaffee spotting for a crack shot.

Got through the tier 3 amx last night. Absolute horrible experience. So many of my matches were against tier 5. On the few time I got in an all tier 3 match I'd just sit back (because it was snail pace slow) and guard the arty. Most of those matches would eventually see my side down 5-11 or so and I'd get to pick off 2-4 and cause damage to about the same before going down. One of the matches had the nice stat of around 160 rounds blocked by armor.

I also had some horrible games yesterday. Was going back and forth between my Tiger and my M5 Stewart. Out of like 12 games, my team only won a single one, and it was for the game my M5 was in. Some of them were close, some of them were horrible. Love games where I am on a team that plays an Encounter battle like a standard battle ignoring the flag. So of course they cap and win while the rest of the team is on the other side of the map. Only myself and one other tank try to hold off their whole team.
