Was just in a battle with an asshat who thought it was funny to keep running into me. Told him if he kept it up he would get a shell in the keister. Well, he kept it up, so I TK'd him and yet, I'm the one getting penalized.

WTF is this crap? He was intentionally ruining the game experience and running into me while I'm trying to play. I told him to stop and gave him the consequences of his actions if he kept it up. He kept it up, I made him stop, and I get banned?

Full on BS here. I opened a ticket as this can't be allowed to happen. What a bunch of crap.

Not people in general. Maybe some people who weren't raised properly who don't have an ounce of sense, but not "people". I game. He doesn't see anything negative he's too busy playing but its still my responsibility to ensure he's safe. He had 3 kills with the wolverine today. After he died, I asked him to go back to the garage. His response was "No dad, I want to watch my team and find the best places to shoot from". He'll select one after the other and remembers good locations. He's learning and enjoying the gameplay.

Yes, this is going on too much as of late. I mean what are you going to do? Be the one tank going the other way and get quickly wiped out. Or go with the pack and try to get your little bit before they cap out. You know the team is going to be defeated. What do you guys do?

Do a team chat and grab one or two to go with you. I've held and captured flanks with just myself and really good player as duo. It may not always work, but it's better than leaping to your death at the first sight of a ledge.

I can see by your join date that you aren't new to the internet, but yet you are.

And why are you mad about getting banned for TK'ing? Again, you think the rules should conform to you, and not the other way around.

Sometimes you just cannot carry your team hard enough.
I saw my team mates were pretty bad vs good players so figured it would be better to support their push rather than die somewhere else uselessly.
Sadly, despite all of them gathering in the south we still lost.

The ELC is a great little tank. I absolutely suck with light tanks, but I see those suckers cruising around hitting things and then scooting away with ease. I get into it and self destruct after my first engagement. There is a finesse to it that I just don't get. I guess that is why I stick to big slow tanks!

With the AMX's you really have to know when NOT to go (12t and 13-75 are better in that regard with the quick reload). They also play differently than the 90mm go kart.

Currently hating the light french line. So much research to get a gun that doesn't suck ass for the tier. And a combo of craptastics reload time along with taking forever to site in on your target. You could drive around at 100mph and it isn't going to matter if you much be touching chasis to get off a capable snap shot.

You can't snap shot with french tanks. Dispersion is god awful, the handling is shit. French lights aren't scouts, they're support gun platforms and should be played that way. Don't snap shot unless you're right next to the guy you're trying to kill. If you're sniping... don't. Only shots you should be taking are from the rear and sides. The long aimtime forces you to stay away from the sniping role, but get a GLD to help yourself out.

That being said, auto loaders play differently from traditional tanks. They should be opportunistic assassins and you should only engage if you know you can reload safely after emptying your clip, or you are 100% sure you can kill the guy with your clip. You should be unloading and then retreating while others are taking the heat.

They're not nimble enough to be true scouts but they can fill the role in a pinch, just don't expect other people to understand that fact.

I have lots of fun ramming French light tanks (and all other light tanks for the matter) with my Aufkl. Panzer. I rammed at AMX 13 80 for more than 500 hp and killed him in a head to head collision.

That's nice in theory, but most games I'm in where I even stay back for the lines to stabalize and then try to get into a good position, has the line close enough to my base that the big guns of the other side can lock on me either moving into position or as soon as I take a shot and that's a game over situation too.

You guys see the new line of French tanks that are coming in next patch? I think its the next patch. Anyway WG was showing them off on their website. Haven't seen any stats yet. Just by looks the last two looked any kind of fearsome. The rest 'looked' meh.

The lower tiers seem crap (like the existing ones) and T9\10 may as well be called "Leo PTA" and "Leo 1"

lupi, I would suggest watching some high level gameplay on youtube or picking some high-xp replays from wotreplays.
You need to learn how to feel the Force...let it guide you into proper positions...let it tell you when to pop out and finish off a 50% heavy, then run off behind a nearby house or rock.

that's not theory, that's how the playstyle for autoloaders work. I've gone past the 13-90 myself already and learned it painfully. If you try to play the french lights like normal scouts you're going to have a bad time.

Not saying I'm very good with them (my playstyle doesn't work very well with autoloaders), but autoloaders in general are most dangerous when traveling with a pack of something or other. I've gone past the 13-90 and didn't bother with the lorraine because it doesn't mesh with me very well. You WILL be targeted first because you're squishy, so try to not be in their line of fire.

If you're getting wrecked before you can get into position you need to reevaluate how you're approaching the front lines and where you are taking cover. Your mobility is good enough for you to juke any non-scout tank other than the russian mediums.
