I couldn't use Aslain's mod pack. I tried it for a day but every time a match started, I felt like I was at the circus. Too many colors, too much crap on my screen.. ugh. I know its customizable, but there's just too much to it.

I went back to blue stealth and really like the simplicity of it. I don't know how to turn on the damage indicators on the tanks yet, but everything else works well. just my 2 cents.

Yeah tell me about it. I cringe at those videos where they have 1000 mods going with so much useless crap.

Aslain's modpack let's you add and remove what ever you like and prefer. not sure why it looked so crazy but i have very few visual mods add.
since 9.7 release his modpack won't be ready till at least monday

Wow, just wow. Content patches really bring out the morons. A sea of morons. I was on SV with my Easy 8. I went to the Temple on the hill because it's a good place to start the match. Usually, it's just myself and a TD, maybe two TD's. I got to my spot, and started layering in the pain, then I looked at my mini map.

ELEVEN players were jammed together on the hill to the top of the temple. ELEVEN. You wouldn't believe what happened next. Actually, you would believe what happened next: they all got shredded. Two really good players and I bagged the red team while our Oompa Loompas quivered in a blind panic. Red arties must have bagged some pretty nice medals from that fuster cluck.

It's been like this the whole day. Entire teams moving on one flank and then insult each other while they get rolled. 4-5x in a row this has happened.

I haven't seen the new map yet. I'll try later after all the children are in bed.

patch day was horrible for me, i think i ended up with a 30% w/r
and the queue times for lights were god awful. i'm just glad the arty queue was fucked up too as 90% of the matches had no arty last night, the way tanks should be played.

No smug. I knew I had a 5% chance of having a 50-50% chance of making it across. There was a small building directly behind me with reds on either side. Moving out of it's line would have been instant death.

Watched a lot of the day one streams for the world finals. Wow NA got schooled as a whole. The thing I find most clear is that wargaming can not balance tanks for shit. So many 54 lights because of their blatant prowess. I feel a healthy meta is one where there are a lot of choices.

Oh and dorf still blows in 7/54.

With the sale going on, picked up Panther and Tiger (P).

I'm really liking the Tiger (P) better than Tiger I. That hull armor is just awesome, 200mm of it, angle it and even some tier 8s have issues. Too bad the turret armor is just like the Tiger I.

48 games in it and have my 1st Mark of Excellence. This is going to be an easy grind it seems.

54LT is good all around tank. That's why you see a group of them and then support tanks like 1390/RU/Bulldog/T32/Persh etc.

I'm disappointed in how we did. Not so much in my own play, but it just seemed like nothing was working and we didn't know how to fix it. Didn't expect to win it all, but I wanted to get out of the group stage at least

Did this patch break a lot of cheats? I'm noticing a lot of high PR players not being able to find their dicks in a room full of mirrors.

get the T37, that's way more fun than the cromwell due to the awful gun handling on the cromwell.
also after the t37, the m41 is a beast, and the t49 is good for laughs.

after the cromwell the comet is a downgrade, then you have the centurions

Working up to the Cromwell for clan wars,we run lots of KV-85 and Cromwell.Not 30 matches in and i had gotten my top gun,master gun medals in a single match in the Covenanter.Currently got the first upgraded gun on the Cruasader and the first shot i fired from it ammo racked a Stug 111 G.

Best penetrating gun on that Covenanter ironically was penning more for me then the best gun on the D.W.2/stock VK30.01H.Those lower tier German Heavies are a absolute rage inducing experience,5cm stock gun going into a tier 7 battle.

Everyone knows, and I've said this many times, but weekends really bring out the morons, and today was really bad.

10 of 12 matches, I was top damage dealer in team with 5 kills/game, all loses. I lost 6% WR on that TD today.

I went up against an Easy 8 in my bone stock SU85b...and won. He had only 500HP, but still. Do you know how long it takes to beat down an Easy 8 with a stock SU85b? a LONG time, that's how bad he was. He then went on to berate his team for not helping him. SU85b has 260HP. One hit on a flank from an Easy 8 would do me.

In another match, a Hellcat was in trouble, so I set about flanking around a building. Jacksons take a long time to do anything, but I got behind the tank that was beating on the Hellcat, which then parked in front of me and stopped. Hellcat driver got blown to shreds and blamed me for it, calling me all sorts of names. This is a guy with 35k+ matches and a 7k PR. Call for help, then park in front of the person helping you? methinks this guy had a broken cheat mod directory. I beat him on both kills and damage, which must have really salted his wounds.

To add insult to injury...

...he was on the enemy team the very next match. What kind of mental giant hides in a bush sideways in a Hellcat? In front of a Jackson driver whom you read the riot act the previous game? I ended his game with a shower of sparks and flames that even his most bitter of tears could not extinguish.

I have seen all 54's and a tier 6. That's not a well rounded tank, that is THE tank.

haha awesome, i'm just about to unlock the T54L, however i only have 1 crew skill so i'll probably keep the LTTB and enable accelerated crew training for a bit before moving them over
