I am in no way trying to attack or passing judgement on anyone's purchasing choices. Remember when the latest and greates PC game would cost $50 or more? ... and people complained that games were getting too expensive? Now we are talking about spending $70 on a digital representation of a single ship within a game.

Another reason to spend money on digital stuff, it supports the game. As you would know, no income, no development, no game.
