War Thunder still has hysterical physics crap in their ground forces. Flipping tanks with ease. Their air game was pretty damn good until they screwed with the MM.
The only vehicles that I've seen flipping accidentally are the Marder II Tank Destroyers. Technically they are top heavy with a high center of gravity when you consider they carry a huge 76mm gun emplacement on top of a relatively small Panzer II chasis. That means you need to be careful of it's lean when on a hillside.
A better fix would be a higher terrain manipulation resolution and the ability for treads to actually travel "up" small vertical walls like you would expect to with a tank, like when you get stuck in a trench (which is your own fault).
So far though, I think their armor penetration and damage simulation is quite excellent for a video game though I think some of the accuracy on the developer side of things is unrealistic. Also the Battle Ratings system can really be a force to be reckoned with when you end up going against vehicles with much better armament and armor even though opponents shouldn't have anything 1.0 BR points above your highest rated vehicle.
Shermans are miracle workers, mid tier German vehicles are death traps considering what they get put up against.
My favorite part about Tanks Realistic Battles isn't the tanks but being able to deliver close air support with my Me 410 A-1! SPAAGs are immensely enjoyable too when there are aircraft to shoot down.
