Alas I didn't get into the stress test this weekend so I need a report back from those that did after their playtime game does look very fun would be keen to hear peoples experience.

Well, if I get into the Titanfall beta, my report might be a bit short. >_<

My experience was sci-fi WoW with action combat. The setting/environment/npc interaction is not my cup of tea though I kind of wish it was because I do think the combat could be fun.

Played a bit and crashed a few times (hard crashes too, not just some crash to desktop stuff). The game was fun, but obviously needs a bit of work.

I played a bit, I don't think the graphics are much like WoW. WoW is built on super low poly counts but high contrast, saturated colors. Wildstar reminds me more of a Cartoon Network/Adult Swim style. There were a lot of highly detailed environments.

Larnz, I can see what you mean with the telegraph system, but I think you are looking at it the wrong way. In WoW, every now and then an AOE or environmental event would happen and you'd need to avoid it. However, in Wildstar every attack has an area of effect which can be avoided. This requires a preemptive system instead of a reactive system like WoW's. That is key. WoW is reactionary where you need to avoid it once it happens, but Wildstar requires you to react before it happens.

I played for about a hour and thought it was fun. I can't say anything specific, but the game is much more interesting than most of the MMO's I've tested lately.

This was one of my most anticipated MMOs to try but after "trying" it for a bit, I'm actually looking forward to playing ESO a lot more. Really wish I could divulge more.

I found it to be slightly different than most MMO's, I wasn't blown away by it and I did not die in combat once over several fights. Why is every MMO made to be stupidly easy?

Because if a competent person can't afk faceroll the entire game, we get threads about people complaining everything is so cheap and it is so hard the WHAAAAAAmbulance ran them over twice. See Dark Souls. =(

I agree, the difficulty on MMOs is incredibly low, but their target audience is literally everyone with a computer (which is 99% mouth breathers).

I know its kind of sad and everytime a challenging MMO comes out its complete crap

Thanks! Although, I noticed that the NCSoft page says that the key is active on March 5. Is that just some weird thing, or will I actually be able to login tomorrow?

I think that's just when the key was added. I created my ncsoft acct at 10pm est and it says it was created march 5. So they're probably using gmt/utc.

Ah, that makes sense. The last one that I was in (a stress test) has its activation date as 12/17 (a Tuesday), but I believe it was that following weekend.

Thanks I'll give it another shot. Took about 10 minutes in total to get my key, That inclueds my alien-ware password reset.

I don't think you can skip the newbie stuff, but you may not really want to. It'll introduce you to a lot of the stuff like Paths and things like that. If you play enough, you may get up to the point where you can try the first dungeon, but that'll be a ton of grinding.
