This is the problem when you annoint a guy the next coming of Christ after 13 starts in the NFL.

The good news for Bears' fans? You're never as bad as you look when your going bad (nor as good as you look vice-versa).

Take heart. I wouldn't mind being a Bears fan this season. It's just please shrug off the hype machine and stay real with your expectations and remember, all in all, you've got a killer defense.

at least he has not broke a leg yet..

Is the bears QB a rookie? I can't keep track of all these players.

Leinert is the USC QB?

Do the Bears stick with Grossman in the 2nd half?

Ugh, I can't believe that the Cardinals blew ANOTHER opportunity.

oh i keep the hype ofn rex down. i always worry about him even surviving the game. he is rather fragile.

now i am despointed on how the defence has been playing. but man rex can't get them off the field to relaxe.

Bears QB (Grossman) is in his 3rd year but has been plagued with injuries in the past.

yeah, but one thing I've learned - lots of changes can come after half-time.

arizona isn't dominating the field, but they are the scoreboard.

Their defense is pumped up and making a ton of great plays.

they have to.

they have far to much invested in the kid. even if he has another interception and fumble. or both.

briese was brought in in case he gets hurt again (wich is very likely considering his past). Orton while having a great record for a rookie is not up to starting.

So what is the NFL record for number of turnovers by a quarter back?

Grossman gotta be getting close to the first half record.

The Cardinals are going to lose this game. If they keep play calling like they have been in the 2nd quarter that is. They don't have the offensive line be ultra conservative and keep pounding it yet that's what they keep trying to do. If you're +4 in the turnover battle and that's all you've managed to hang on the board, especially with the great field position they've been given.... that's just sad. Whoever's calling plays for the Cardinals should be fired. Absolutely no balls.

Holy F'in Sh!t. 0-20 @halftime.

Are we certain these teams didn't switch uniforms before the game?

Anyone know what the vegas odds were on this game? What was the spread?

Yeah, Rex is their present, and their future, so sticking with him is a big no-brainer.

And all this is about QB maturation in the NFL, can Grossman bear down and go to work and methodically bring them back in the second half? This game is FAR from over.

Well there was the bears vs. jaguars last year, where orton threw 5 picks.

It looked pretty much like this game.

PRO CAREER: Heads into his fourth NFL season as Chicago's starting QB for the third consecutive campaign while playing in the same offensive system in consecutive seasons for the first time since his college career... Missing time due to injury in each of his first 3 NFL seasons

yeah he is in his 4th year.

Most fumbles in a game is 7 by Len Dawson. Most interceptions thrown in a game is 8 by Jim Hardy.

This game will test the Bears to see if they can come from behind at half and win on the road. Seattle showed they could do it last night...which is what championship football teams can do.

Go Cardinals!

BTW, stop bashing Grossman. He is the man at QB. You didn't see Seattle bench Hasselbeck when they were at Chicago now did you? Of course not. If you think Orton has a fire in his belly and can make this offense explode...well...you're an idiot.

you would think that this being his 4th yhear he would be mature heh.

but i agree. the game is far from over. he has the skill to come back and score 20+. now lets see if he can put the first half behind and do it.

should learn a lot about him. see if hecan handle being behind.

Ah, right. Drafted in 2003 ... now I remember.

Anyway, I agree that he should (has to) stay in for the second half. Let's see if he can bounce back.

The Cardinals have kept this game close. They should be up 4 or 5 scores, but the Bears are still within 3 scores of catching up. This is shaping up to be a GREAT game.

there is a huge diffrence. Orton is 2nd year and REx is 4th. bad part is there stats are not that far apart.

this game is still far from over. the chicago D can easily hold the cardinals at 20 for the rest of the game, giving Grossman plenty of time to get 3 TDs, which he can. He has the skill, now it's just up to whether he has the maturity and mental toughness to get past a horrible 1st half and try and bring his bears to another victory

He hasn't been the man tonight.
