*****UPDATE******
I did a lot of testing last night. I have come to the conclusion that it is not running at 4.2. If I set the fsb to anything higher than 200, cpu-z really starts messing up. I realized that even though cpu-z said 300 FSB like in the first screen shot, it was actually set to something in the 150 range. I played around with a few things and found out that cpuid's ClockGen program seems to show the correct information. I started raising the vcore and the fsb in the bios. For some reason, I could not get it to boot at 250+ fsb but I was able to change it in windows with clockgen. I'm pretty sure clockgen works because when I go too high, the system crashes and when I increase fsb through it and benchmark, the scores go up. I set the clock speed to 3746, which I think is accurate now, and started running prime95 last night. It's still going without any errors or warnings. The temps are still kind of cool, flucuating beween 38 - 44 C on load. Here is a shot of what's going on:
Very strange CPU-Z, MBM Dash, 3dmark03 system specs, prime95, ClockGen
******************
Just came in the mail today, been playing with it for about an hour or so.
Setup:
Mobile Intel Pentium 4 3.06 Prescott (ES) D0
Thermalright SP94, Vantec Tornado, Nexus Fan Controller
Asus P4C800-E Deluxe
OCZ Dual Channel PC3500 Enhanced Bandwidth
BBA 9800 Pro w/ VGA Silencer
Antec 550w
Lian Li PC-61
Results:
Running prime95 now, passed a couple passes of memtest. (Screenshot is idle)
CPU-Z, MBM Dash
Core Speed: 4208
Multiplier: 14
FSB: 300
Bus Speed: 1202
Memory: 2.5-3-2-6 @ 188 Mhz (Will tighten this up a little later)
Idle Temp: 29 C
Load Temp: 36 C
Prime95 is up to test4, cpu temp is 36 C.
I'm very happy thus far.
