This is my old rig, A7N8X Deluxe mobo.
I had plugged in a SATA drive earlier in the day to transfer some files but after removing the drive and then moving some files from one partition to another on my current HD, it just started beeping. I wasn't infront of the PC when it just started beeping.
One repeating beep, every 2 seconds and ONLY when windows starts up. I can go in the BIOS, boot via floppy and not hear anything. Strange thing is, I don't see a degrade in performance either.
Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated as all the searches I've done for beeps occur at POST.
Tried replacing:
RAM, Keyboard, Mouse, Unplugging Floppy
